Travis Kelce’s American Eagle Collaboration Hits a Fashion Home Run
Travis Kelce has just acquired yet another title to add to his impressive list of achievements.
In his latest venture beyond football, the Kansas City Chiefs star, 35, has partnered with American Eagle—not merely as the face of a new campaign but as a key contributor driving its vision.
Kelce took on the role of Creative Director for the launch of AE x Tru Kolors by Travis Kelce, a limited-edition collaboration with his own sportswear and lifestyle brand, which was officially revealed on Wednesday, August 27.
The “New Heights” podcaster and his team played an integral role throughout the entire process, actively participating in everything from design through to execution for this empowering collection, which took over a year to develop and will see a second drop on September 24.
Kelce meticulously chose the athletes who would appear in the campaign, overseeing fabric selections while also working on color palettes, sample choices, silhouette adjustments, and graphics.
The tight end enlisted an impressive lineup for the campaign, which includes emerging tennis star Anna Frey, top basketball talent Azzi Fudd, quarterback Drew Allar, basketball prospect Kiyan Anthony (son of Carmelo Anthony), the nation’s top wide receiver recruit Jeremiah Smith, and Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee—all representing the ‘live to play’ ethos.
“I’ve had to keep my excitement for this collaboration under wraps for almost a year. It was an incredible chance to partner with a reputable brand where both sides were genuinely enthusiastic about collaborating on every creative detail that brought the ‘AE x TK’ collection to life,” Kelce expressed proudly. “I founded Tru Kolors in 2019 with the goal of showing up as my authentic self and having fun with fashion, and we aimed for this collaboration to embody that same spirit. I want everyone to discover something in the collection that resonates with them—something they’ll feel great in and can make their own. I’m thrilled for it to finally be unveiled.”

Fortunately for fans, items from the collection will be reasonably priced, ranging from $14.95 to $179.95, and featuring over 90 pieces. The collection includes vintage-inspired T-shirts, revamped varsity jackets, cricket sweaters, rugby polos, utilitarian cargos, and cozy chenille items along with stylish cashmere sets.
AE and Kelce collaborated with the shared vision of creating garments that instill confidence in consumers, providing pieces that are personal, purposeful, and versatile.
With the 2025 NFL season just around the corner, the timing is perfect. Kelce and his teammates are set to face the Los Angeles Chargers for the Kansas City Chiefs’ season opener in São Paulo, Brazil, on Friday, September 5.
