Vanderpump Villa’s Marciano Reveals Alleged DMs with Demi from Mormon Wives

Fans of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives are still searching for clarity regarding the relationship between star Demi Engemann and Vanderpump Villa‘s Marciano Brunette. Marciano is now sharing purported evidence suggesting their connection was more than just friendship.

“You want proof? I’ll share what I can,” Marciano, 32, stated in an Instagram video uploaded on Friday, May 29. “Sadly, it’s not everything. But I’ll do my best to illustrate how this all began and unfolded.”

He recounted how Demi, 30, allegedly reached out to him after his mid-production dismissal from season 2 of Vanderpump Villa. He shared a photo from Italy that Demi reportedly reacted to, as shown in the screenshots he posted on social media.

“Instantly, I received a follow and a DM from Demi. You can see that I was just as taken aback,” he continued. “I made a light joke about it, and then she asked me to call her. She provided her phone number, leading to several hours of conversation afterward.”

Season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives not only explored the alleged romantic involvement between Marciano Brunette and Demi Engemann but also introduced new claims about an affair involving Jessi Ngatikaura. The conflict actually ignited on another Hulu series — Vanderpump Villa — with Demi, Jessi, Jen Affleck, Layla Taylor, and Mikayla involved in the drama.

In the purported DMs exchanged between Marciano and Demi, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star requested that Marciano give her a call, sharing a phone number which he obscured.

“What I’m trying to convey is that Demi has made some outrageous claims about me,” Marciano remarked. “But if that’s true, why are you following me, DMing me, and giving me your phone number, while maintaining a relationship? It simply doesn’t add up. I assure you, more of this will emerge, and I can’t wait for you to see it.”

After disclosing the alleged chats, Marciano issued a further statement in response to Demi’s accusations that he acted like a “predator.” (Demi also mentioned on the “Viall Files” podcast in May that she “opened up to all the girls post-Vanderpump Villa [and shared] that I’d been groped,” without mentioning Marciano’s name.)

“I sincerely wish I could elaborate on everything, but as I said, the complete truth will be unveiled soon! I want to clarify that I do not condone sexual assault in any form,” Marciano stated via Instagram Story. “It’s a serious issue that should never be trivialized! However, I also can’t support or excuse anyone who falsely claims sexual assault, as it damages genuine victims and undermines the severity of the concern.” (Demi, for her part, has not publicly responded to Marciano’s posts, only sharing moments from a recent family trip with her husband, Bret Engemann.)

Demi first spoke about her allegedly tumultuous interactions with Marciano when season 2 of Vanderpump Villa premiered in May.

“I made a quite bold and truthful statement against Marciano [recently] because at that moment it felt like, ‘You’re lying about me. In fact, you were the predator.’ So I refuse to remain silent — I stand by that statement,” she exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “There are further developments behind the scenes that will be revealed. I suspect it may have turned into a legal matter. I can’t say much more right now, as I want to emphasize the seriousness of the situation. But I stand by my statements.”

Demi remarked that it was “audacious” of Marciano to “attempt to take control of the narrative.”

“He’s attempting to defend himself. He’s in the wrong, and I believe he’s scared. It’s likely that the majority of those who come forward to dismiss my experience or express opinions aren’t closely tied to the situation. To me, it’s a clear indication of damage control,” Demi expressed. “While that’s not always the case, it seems particularly true with those uninvolved in the situation.”

She added: “I’m just trying to stay focused on my own path. I want to control what I can, rely on my husband and family, and tackle this situation professionally. Given that I was a victim, I’ve decided to handle it this way. There’s no correct or wrong approach to managing such matters, but I’m doing the best I can. Thankfully, I have my husband’s support and the truth by my side.”

In addition to his ongoing issues with Demi, Marciano claimed in season 2 of Mormon Wives that he had a separate affair with Jessi Ngatikaura.

“I must say it’s not as he portrayed it,” Jessi, 32, who is married to Jordan Ngatikaura, told Bustle last month. “What he said was inaccurate. I wish I could talk right now. … Honestly, yeah, he’s a piece of work.”
