Mel and Jack
Season 7 highlighted significant developments for the newly married couple, including relocating from Mel’s previous home to their new place and the prospect of becoming parents. Marley (Rachel Drance) initially retracted her offer to put her baby up for adoption, but eventually chose Mel and Jack as parents. After giving birth to a son, Marley discovered he had health complications that would necessitate multiple surgeries.
The season finale featured Mel and Jack in an ambulance with their newborn.

Although Kaia briefly contemplated leaving Virgin River, she ultimately decided to stay in the small town. Preacher, on the other hand, ended the season feeling uncertain about his future after Jack dismissed his ideas for expanding the bar.
Charmaine
After a long absence, Brie managed to locate Charmaine, who had been abducted by her employer. By the end of season 7, Charmaine and her twins were rescued and on the path to recovery.
Brady, Brie, and Mike
