Where Jon and Kate Gosselin Stand with Their Eight Children Today
Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin gained fame through their family, but their relationship with some of their kids has been rocky.
The former couple, who were married from 1999 until 2009, became parents in October 2000 with the birth of twins Mady and Cara. In 2004, their family grew to 10 when they welcomed sextuplets Collin, Hannah, Aaden, Joel, Alexis, and Leah.
The family’s large number of children was featured in numerous Discovery Health specials before they secured their own TLC show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, in 2007. After their divorce in 2009, the network rebranded the show to Kate Plus 8. Kate was granted sole legal custody of their children; however, in 2018, Hannah and Collin moved in with their father in Pennsylvania, where they have remained since.
Though all the children are now adults, their parents are still estranged after a bitter custody battle. “At this point, the likelihood of co-parenting with my ex is probably over,” Jon shared exclusively with Us Weekly in May 2023. “I feel relieved that they can transition into adulthood without the burden of mom and dad going to family court.”
