Who Is Kieran Culkin’s Wife? Introducing Jazz Charton

Upon winning his first Emmy, Kieran Culkin took a moment to convey a playful and affectionate message to his wife, Jazz Charton.

While accepting the award for best actor in a drama series, the “Succession” star declared to his wife—and the world—that he wishes to have more children.

“And of course my lovely wife Jazz, thank you for sharing your life with me and for giving me two wonderful kids: (Kinsey Sioux) and Wilder Wolf. I love you endlessly,” he said. “And Jazz, I want more.”

The camera shifted to his 36-year-old wife, who was chuckling in the audience.

“You said maybe if I win,” Culkin joked. “I love you so much.”

Soon, Charton and Culkin will step onto the red carpet again at the Oscars, where he is nominated for his first award for “A Real Pain.” Keep reading to discover more about the woman who has been by Culkin’s side for over a decade.

Jazz Charton originally hails from London

Charton is originally from London but moved to New York City in 2010. According to a 2021 Instagram post, she had only planned to visit New York briefly. Love changed her trajectory.

“11 years ago today, I left London for NYC for what was meant to be a 3-month trip… 2 kids later, I guess I’m here to stay,” she captioned the post.

Despite her life in the U.S., Charton often visits London, as seen on her Instagram, where she pays tribute to her homeland.

Charton was employed at an ad agency when she met Culkin

In a 2021 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Culkin shared that he met his wife while she was working in the music department of an ad agency when they crossed paths at a bar in New York in 2012.

“I introduced myself, ‘I’m Kieran. You have an English accent. What’s your name?’” he recalled. “She said, ‘Jazz.’ I replied, ‘J-A-Z-Z, like the music?’ She nodded, and I thought, ‘Well, that’s a bit silly.’”

They struck up a conversation and the rest is, as they say, history.

The couple tied the knot in 2013

While on a trip together in 2013, Culkin and Charton got married in what seemed to be a memorable ceremony.

#tbt to taking a break from our road trip to get married by the roadside in Iowa during a storm four years ago today. Still the best pit stop I’ve ever made,” Charton captioned an Instagram post in 2017.

Charton and Culkin have two children

Charton announced in May 2019 that she and Culkin were expecting their first child together.

“The best surprise we’ve ever had. We had no idea how much this meant to us until it happened. We’re excited/terrified/ecstatic/unprepared but can’t wait to meet our little unexpected creation in September,” she wrote in her post.

Their daughter Kinsey Sioux was born in September of that same year.

Two years later, they welcomed a son named Wilder Wolf.

While on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that same year, Culkin mentioned that it took seven weeks to name his son.

“We found (the name) in the hospital the day he was born, thought it was great, but instead of immediately deciding, we tortured ourselves for seven weeks disagreeing on names before coming back to the one we chose,” he shared.

She gives her followers an authentic glimpse into motherhood

Parenting can be tough, and Charton doesn’t shy away from showcasing this reality. She frequently shares snippets from her life with two little ones on social media.

In one post, she shared a snapshot of her children, writing, “Oh, just when the exhaustion and stress of parenthood make me reminisce about life before kids, they surprise me with this and 😭.

That same year, she celebrated Mother’s Day by sharing the following message: “May your tiring, relentless days be filled with these moments that make all the chaos worthwhile.”

She’s her husband’s greatest supporter

Throughout the last decade, Charton has been Culkin’s staunchest ally, often using social media to express her love and keep him grounded.

When he appeared on “Saturday Night Live” in 2021, she shared a shout-out on Instagram.

“Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. I feel so fortunate to watch this remarkable guy fulfill his dreams—even while our kids keep me awake and generally make life a bit chaotic,” she wrote.

When Culkin earned his first award at the 2024 Golden Globes, his wife congratulated him on Instagram in a light-hearted manner.

“He finally did it!!!! How unbelievable! What can I tease him about now? I’ll come up with something. What an honor it has been to stand by his side through all of this!” she shared.
