Why Fans Believe Taylor Swift Will Be on Travis Kelce’s Podcast

The eagerly awaited day in “New Heights” history might finally be here. 

Hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce, the podcast stirred excitement among fans with an announcement on Monday, August 11. 

“92%ers, we’re returning early for a special episode featuring a VERY special guest,” the show shared on social media. “New episode Wednesday at 7PM ET.”

An image with the post featured Travis, 35, smiling joyfully, and Jason, 37, seemingly sporting merchandise from Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift, with a silhouette of the surprise guest positioned between the two brothers. 

The background color of the post shone in a sparkling orange hue, frequently associated with the pop star’s upcoming musical era. 

Notably, the Instagram page Taylor Nation — managed by Swift’s team — posted a selection of photos on Monday morning showcasing Swift in various orange outfits from The Eras Tour. 

“Thinking about when she said ‘See you next era…’ ❤️‍🔥,” read the caption. 

The post even received a like from Swift’s record label, Republic Records, leading to speculation about a potential announcement from the star on the show.

The NFL joined the excitement too, commenting, “👀🤔.”

Swift, also 35, has not made an appearance on the “New Heights” podcast since she began dating Kelce in the fall of 2023.

Naturally, fans instantly began piecing together clues regarding Swift’s possible appearance on the “New Heights” podcast. 

“Trying to stay very calm about this!!!!!!!!” one user commented on Instagram. 

Another user pointed out the silhouette’s shape, writing, “That’s 110% mother; I can spot that outline from anywhere.”

“And it premieres on the 13th?!?,” another fan added, alluding to Swift’s well-known connection with the number. “Come on now. Has to be Tay.”

In a May interview, Jason acknowledged that fans would “love” to see Swift as a guest on “New Heights.”

“I think you and many others do, for sure,” Jason humorously responded.

Although Swift has yet to appear on “New Heights,” she has consistently been a topic of discussion on the podcast. 

In January, Travis revealed that Swift is a devoted listener. “She tunes in every week,” he shared with podcast producers Brandon Borders and Jake Chatzky.

Borders and Chatzky recounted their first meeting with Swift, stating they were “astounded” that she recognized them. 

Swift complimented the producers on their creativity regarding the podcast, which Borders and Chatzky expressed gratitude for.

“I appreciate you guys saying nice things about Tay,” Travis remarked.

Swift’s potential guest appearance on “New Heights” comes as Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs prepare for the start of the 2025 NFL regular season.

The Chiefs will head to Brazil for their opening game against the Los Angeles Chargers on September 5.
