Why Nara Smith Decided to Keep Her Fourth Pregnancy Under Wraps for Six Months
Model and TikTok star Nara Smith is sharing the reasons behind her decision to keep her latest pregnancy with baby No. 4 a secret for six months.
On Sunday, June 8, Nara, 23, and her husband Lucky Blue Smith, 27, revealed they are expecting their fourth child together. Initially, they had announced plans to stop expanding their family after welcoming their daughter Whimsy Lou in 2024. They are also parents to daughter Rumble Honey and son Slim Easy, born in 2020 and 2022, respectively.
In a recent TikTok video posted on Tuesday, June 11, Nara discussed her journey to becoming a mother of four, all before the age of 25.
“I’m about six months now, which feels surreal,” Nara stated, attributing her ability to conceal her baby bump in recent TikTok videos to “good angles, outfits, and sucking in my stomach.”
“I delayed sharing for as long as I could because I anticipated people would have plenty of opinions,” Nara explained. “Personally, I needed time to adapt to the idea of having another child since I thought I was done after Whimsy.”
Later in the video, she noted that she and Lucky had not planned the pregnancy, referring to it as a “surprise baby.”
“Whimsy is only just over a year old. I guess it was meant to be,” she added.
Nara expressed her enthusiasm for welcoming baby No. 4, mentioning that she and Lucky know the gender but plan to keep that information private until the birth.
Nara also shared her insights on managing their three children, all of whom are under five, and clarified that they do not have a nanny or outside help.
“Lucky and I excel at tag-teaming. We coordinate our work schedules, and one of us takes care of the kids,” Nara explained. “When we’re fortunate, family steps in to help whenever we both travel or things get a bit overwhelming.”
She continued, “No, I don’t have a nanny. I don’t have a whole team assisting me. It’s just me and my husband, along with any family that can help out.”
Nara and Lucky shared their joyful baby news on Sunday with a heartfelt Instagram post. “Our little surprise 🥹🤍,” they captioned a baby reveal video where Lucky embraced Nara while she displayed her baby bump, leaning down to kiss her stomach in another clip.
As Nara prepares for baby No. 4, Lucky is set to become a father of five, as he is also dad to daughter Gravity from his previous relationship with Stormi Bree Henley.
