Wiz Khalifa Commemorates Son’s Birthday with 13 Playful Punches to the Stomach
Wiz Khalifa celebrated his son Sebastian’s 13th birthday in a unique way.
The 38-year-old rapper took to his Instagram Story on Saturday, February 21, to post a video of himself playfully delivering 13 light punches to Sebastian’s stomach. Khalifa, whose real name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz, donned a boxing glove on one hand while Sebastian stood against a wall, arms raised above his head, as shown in a clip shared by Daily Loud via X.
After the first punch, Sebastian, affectionately known as “Bash,” lowered his arms and seemed to wince.
“Hands up,” Khalifa cheerfully reminded his son.
After the second punch, Sebastian once again winced and covered his stomach, leading Khalifa to chuckle and say, “Hands up. Bro, take it like a G, you’re 13 years old.”
Following a few more punches, Khalifa advised Sebastian to tighten his abs and exhale each time he gets hit. The “Sucker for Pain” artist finished the initial 13 punches and then prepared to deliver one final hit “for good luck.”
Sebastian groaned as Khalifa threw the last punch. The teenager then walked away, clutching his stomach as Khalifa laughed.
“We still doin’ birthday licks in this house! Took it like a G tho,” Khalifa captioned the video.
Khalifa co-parents Sebastian with ex-wife Amber Rose and also shares a 19-month-old daughter, Kaydence, with his girlfriend Aimee Aguilar.
Aside from the playful punches, Khalifa honored his son with a heartfelt birthday message on Instagram.
“Happy 13th Birthday to my amazing son. I love you so much,” he wrote. “You bring so much joy to my life every day since the moment you arrived. Thanks for being so kind, caring, intelligent, an excellent big brother, and the perfect son. Love you, Sebastian. Happy 13th birthday to my big teenage boy.”
Rose, 42, also expressed her love for Sebastian on his special day.
“Happy 13th Birthday to my Sweet Angel Sebastian (Pumpkin). You have filled my life with love and laughter since the day you came into this world. I can’t believe you’re a teenager now 🥹. You’re smart, funny, creative, athletic, and the most incredible son a mother could wish for!” she shared on her Instagram Story. “I’ll probably cry all day because I love you so much, kiddo. Thanks for choosing me.”
Sebastian’s 13th birthday celebration follows Khalifa’s previous admission of smoking marijuana before attending his son’s parent-teacher conferences.
“I’m pulling up stoned. They expect it,” Khalifa stated on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in 2024. “They know what’s up. It’s not like in the past when you were considered a bad parent for smoking weed. I’m pretty sure my son smells like weed. I can’t confirm because I can’t smell it, but I imagine he does.”
Khalifa continued, “I show up high because I want them to connect with my true self. They’re not going to meet a fake version of me or a facade of a parent that society expects. I am who I am, and it doesn’t change because of my celebrity status. Why should I have to alter my identity just for the occasions I attend? That’s not the life I intend to lead.”
