Zendaya’s Stylist Reveals Hidden Detail in Her ‘Something Blue’ Look

Zendaya finally embraced her “something blue” moment.

On Thursday, April 2, 29-year-old Zendaya turned heads at the premiere of The Drama in New York City, showcasing a stunning Schiaparelli couture gown with a strapless sweetheart neckline. The dress featured a sheer black corset embellished with bright blue feathers, complemented by a mermaid skirt adorned with tiered layers and matching blue accents at the hem.

The leading actress enhanced her look with exquisite Tiffany & Co. diamond jewelry, which included a striking 10-carat sapphire ring surrounded by smaller diamonds, an additional blue-stone ring, and pair of matching dangling earrings.

Her longtime stylist, Law Roach, also took to Instagram on Thursday to unveil a
unique detail that wasn’t visible on the red carpet. He shared a close-up of the bluebird Schiaparelli heels she wore, featuring lifelike eyes and a beak at the tip of the pointed-toe shape.

In honoring bridal customs, Zendaya wore “something borrowed” during The Drama press tour. The actress dazzled in a chic Giorgio Armani dress that Cate Blanchett originally wore at The Drama premiere in Rome on March 26. She looked stunning in the black gown featuring a plunging neckline and shiny stone embellishments with a mermaid skirt.

Known for her impeccable fashion sense, Zendaya completed her ensemble with vibrant blue eyeshadow accented with a hint of silver in her waterline, long lashes, bronzed cheeks, and soft pink lips. Her brunette pixie cut was styled with a side part and neatly gelled curls.

During the press tour for The Drama, which depicts the story of Emma Harwood (Zendaya) and Charlie Thompson (Robert Pattinson) as they confront their darkest secrets before their wedding, the Euphoria star meticulously covered all the bridal traditions encapsulated in the famous saying, “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.”

To start, she re-wore a Vivienne Westwood dress, originally a bridal gown, that she first showcased at the 2015 Oscars. Following that, Zendaya wowed everyone in a custom Louis Vuitton white dress adorned with a chic black bow at the back.

For her “something borrowed,” Cate Blanchett graciously lent her an Armani Privé dress featuring a plunging neckline and cowl waist.
