Gia Giudice Seeks Connection with Savannah Chrisley Following Pardons

Gia Giudice is optimistic about finding a supporter in Savannah Chrisley, whose efforts to secure the release of her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, from prison have finally borne fruit.

“I would love to [speak with Savannah],” Gia, 24, shared exclusively with Us Weekly during iHeartRadio and Vrbo’s Pickleball Tournament in Lake Tahoe, California. “100 percent.”

Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, received a pardon from President Trump in May, leading to their release after being convicted of bank and wire fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy. The couple began their sentences in January 2023, serving a total of 28 months.

Gia’s father, Joe Giudice, was convicted of 39 counts of fraud in 2014 alongside her mother, Teresa Giudice. The former couple served their sentences separately — Teresa spent 11 months in prison while Joe was incarcerated for 41 months — before their divorce in 2020. Joe, now 53, was deported to Italy following his prison term and currently resides in the Bahamas.

Gia revealed to Us that her father had been “in contact” with Savannah, 27, prior to Todd and Julie’s pardons. “Seeing that happen to their family was kind of inspiring for our family,” Gia mentioned. “We have a platform and we use our voice to share our opinions. At this point, there’s no ulterior motive; we just want our dad home. It’s very simple.”

Along with Gia, Joe and Teresa, 53, have daughters Gabriella, 21, Milania, 19, and Audriana, 15. Gia and her sisters are hopeful for a family reunion in the near future.

“Every day, we just hope for our dad to come home. If there’s a will, there’s a way. We’re just waiting for that day when our wish may finally come true,” she expressed to Us.

Earlier this month, Gia stirred attention when she posted an Instagram video appealing to President Trump for assistance in bringing her father back to the United States. “Watching the Chrisley family receive a second chance inspired me,” she stated in the video. “It showed me that people can be forgiven and that families can be restored. This gave me hope that maybe my dad could come home, too.”

Despite backlash over her video, which was shared on the 4th of July, Gia clarified that there was no “intention” to be disrespectful or “strategic.”

“I woke up knowing I had to do something for my dad. He was the only thing on my mind. I posted it without any ulterior motive,” she explained during her appearance on iHeartRadio’s “Casual Chaos” podcast. “I just wanted my dad to feel loved and supported by me while hoping for his return home.”

When speaking with Us, Gia emphasized that who ultimately pardons her father doesn’t matter, as long as he comes home.

“It doesn’t matter who’s in office; we would be asking the same thing. But given that this person is in office and this wonderful thing happened for the Chrisley family, it certainly gives us hope. That’s all it is,” she told Us.
