Fergie and Josh Duhamel Share Photos from Their Son’s 13th Birthday Celebration
Fergie and her former spouse, Josh Duhamel, each marked their son Axl Jack’s 13th birthday by sharing exclusive family snapshots.
“13. 🎂🎂 Wow, my teenager,” the Black Eyed Peas singer, 51, posted on Instagram on Saturday, August 29. “I say this with tears in my eyes as it feels like the world is moving beneath us.”
The artist shared a series of images showcasing her son’s journey through life, beginning with her holding infant Axl Jack and highlighting his recent sports feats.
“It’s incredibly beautiful to see you grow into the kind, funny, and cool kid you’ve become,” Fergie remarked. “You are one tough dude, bruh 🤣🤣. Happy 13th Axl Jack.”
On his personal Instagram, Duhamel, 53, shared more nostalgic photos of Axl Jack — including an adorable image of him with one of his newborn siblings. (Duhamel is also the father of 2-year-old Shepherd and 3-month-old Rocca De Leon with his second wife, Audra Mari.)
“Guess who’s officially a TEENAGER!? Wow, that time flew by,” the Transformers star exclaimed. “I adore this kid so much. I couldn’t have asked for a more kind, compassionate, and thoughtful child. HAPPY 13th BIRTHDAY AXL JACK!!!”
Fergie and Duhamel welcomed Axl Jack in August 2013. They revealed their separation in September 2017 after eight years of marriage.
“With all our love and respect, we decided to part ways earlier this year,” they stated in a joint release to Us at that time. “To ensure our family has the best chance to adjust, we wanted to keep this matter private before making it public. We will always be united in support of each other and our family.”
According to Us in November 2019, Fergie and Duhamel arrived at a divorce agreement after two years of discussions. Duhamel married former Miss World America winner Mari, 32, at Olivet Lutheran Church in Fargo, North Dakota, in September 2022.
In April, Duhamel shared on the “Tomi Lahren Is Fearless” podcast that he and Fergie maintain a “good” relationship nearly ten years after their split.
“We enjoy a really positive relationship, thankfully. She’s a great person, and an excellent mom,” he remarked. “Fortunately, she and my wife [Audra] have developed a good relationship as well.”
He continued, “It’s as good as it could possibly be. Thankfully. It’s very civil. There’s no hostility between anyone. That’s really all I care about, and I hope to keep it that way.”
Fergie congratulated her ex and Mari upon the arrival of their daughter, Rocca de Leon, in May. Duhamel has also disclosed that Mari experienced a “really tough” time during labor with their baby daughter.
“[Childbirth was] not easy. I mean, it ended up being great, but it was really challenging for Audra, to be honest,” Duhamel shared on Live With Kelly and Mark in July. “She encountered something called placenta previa, which means the placenta was positioned between the baby and the cervix — a serious condition.”
He explained, “Fortunately, we have modern medicine, so we were aware of the situation and knew we had to schedule a C-section.”
