DWTS Star Brandon’s Wife Reveals ‘Everyone’ Is Urging Them to Start a Family
Dancing With the Stars‘ Brandon Armstrong and his wife Brylee Armstrong are fortunate to have a dedicated support system in place when they’re ready to grow their family.
“POV: everyone is eager for you to have kids, including the DWTS wardrobe team, who has known my husband since he was just 12 years old,” Brylee, 28, noted in a TikTok video posted on Sunday, October 4.
Brylee’s TikTok featured a clip of a discussion among her, Brandon, 32, and the DWTS wardrobe team during her husband’s costume fitting.
“You guys are amazing—they’re seriously so good,” she complimented while admiring Brandon’s outfit.
The wardrobe team members mentioned that they have been with the show for 21 years and have witnessed many of the current professionals grow up.
“We’ve known Brandon since he was a young boy,” one wardrobe member remarked, expressing a desire to see a small version of Brandon and Brylee.
Brylee mentioned that she and Brandon plan to start a family “one of these days.”
Brandon added that the wardrobe member had previously told him during his last visit that it was “time for some kids.” The wardrobe team member confided that he is looking to retire soon and wants to “meet” Brandon and Brylee’s future children before leaving.
“You’re just like Brandon’s mom and my mom. They’re both like, ‘Sooo?’” Brylee playfully teased.
Brandon then quizzed the wardrobe member on whether they would be interested in babysitting when he was “at rehearsal.” The person responded with an enthusiastic yes.
“You’ll need to make them a matching little outfit for Brandon,” Brylee chimed in.
This sweet exchange clearly moved Brylee, as she commented in the video caption, “Caught this adorable convo by chance at B’s costume fitting… looks like we’ve got some work to do before someone retires. 😉🫶🏼❤️🥹.”
Brylee and Brandon originally connected online in 2021. The couple got engaged in March 2022 and married four months later.
Although Brandon and Brylee had a whirlwind romance, they are taking a more relaxed approach regarding starting a family. Last year, Brylee expressed her desire to delay motherhood to achieve other goals first.
“I’ve always known I wanted to be a mom, but I had so many other aspirations to fulfill before taking that step,” she mentioned in an October 2025 Instagram Reel. “Now that I’m 27, I find myself thinking, ‘Wow, where did the time go? Is it time for me to become a mom?’”
Brylee added that one of their shared goals as a couple is to purchase a home before welcoming a child, so they can “settle down” given their “on-the-go” lifestyle.
