Inside Lady Gaga’s Serene First Months with Baby Rose

Lady Gaga is relishing her new role as a mother to her daughter, Rose Bean, after the arrival of her baby girl this summer.

“She is truly overjoyed and completely in her element as a mom,” a source disclosed exclusively to Us. The insider revealed that Gaga, 40, and her tech executive fiancé, Michael Polansky, have been nurturing their first child at their residence in Northern California.

The Grammy Award-winning artist reportedly “loves” the opportunity to step away from the fast-paced life of a celebrity, dedicating herself entirely to motherhood following the quiet arrival of Rose via surrogate on June 9, alongside Polansky, 43.

“It’s a serene and idyllic environment for the baby,” the insider commented about their Northern California home.

New insights regarding Lady Gaga and fiancé Michael Polansky’s first child have surfaced just a week after their parental news broke. The couple welcomed a baby girl named Rose Bean Polansky, as indicated on the birth certificate obtained by TMZ on Thursday, September 17. Gaga “doesn’t want to miss any moments with Rose — whether it’s feeding or rocking her,” the insider shared, adding that the artist is “totally in love” with her baby and feels at ease “surrounded by so much nature and beauty.”

“It’s the perfect setting. She adores it in Northern California. They are truly in their element,” the source told Us about the three-person family.

While Gaga’s lifestyle is “dramatically different than it was during her tours,” where she was “constantly busy,” the insider shares that she is now “prioritizing private family time.”

Though Gaga kept her journey to motherhood largely under wraps, the source noted that she “planned ahead to ensure she would have ample time off.”

Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, appear to be embracing parenthood with grace. “All she mentioned was the need to carve out some personal time. Details about that personal time were not disclosed,” said the insider, who added that Gaga and Polansky “have not discussed the surrogacy experience with many people.”

Instead, they prefer to keep that aspect of their lives “close to the chest,” the source noted. “They are just thankful everything turned out well.”

TMZ was the first to announce baby Rose’s name and confirm that the couple welcomed their first child through surrogacy.

Now that their little one is here, Gaga has stepped back from the public eye because she “wants to cherish the early months” of her daughter’s life, according to the insider.

Polansky, who has been engaged to Gaga since 2024, has been “taking charge of the practical aspects” of parenthood. The source shared with Us that the entrepreneur has been “managing appointments and the limited circle of people allowed around Rose.”

His involvement has been crucial for Gaga to “focus on the little things that bring her joy,” the insider revealed.

“She strives to keep her surroundings minimal to avoid distractions. She appreciates the tranquility,” the source added. “This is such a new normal for her. After working so hard, she’s finally experiencing this kind of peace, and she’s loving every moment of it.”

Since the arrival of their child, Gaga’s work has not been a priority.

“She’s put work on hold to spend time with Rose. There are no immediate plans for her to return to work,” the insider added. “Her primary focus is the baby.”
