Kim Kardashian Dazzles in Sheer Ensemble Featuring Skims Face Wrap
Kim Kardashian stirred up attention with a striking series of photos showcasing a daring outfit while promoting her new Skims Face Wrap.
The 44-year-old reality star put a fresh twist on the “barely there” trend by donning what seemed to be the Saint Laurent Brown tights jumpsuit. She pulled the transparent attire, embellished with rhinestone letters “YSL,” up above her chest in snaps shared on Instagram on Monday, August 18.
Kim accessorized her bold look with a brown fur coat, stylish black shades, and a striking red lip while sitting with her sister Khloé Kardashian and friend La La Anthony, the latter also wearing her Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap — priced at $48 on her website — which has since sold out.
“When in Korea,” Kim captioned her globetrotting images, including a mirror selfie where the beauty mogul flaunted her hourglass figure in the completely-sheer attire.
Khloé, 41, remarked that she felt “snatched” after their photo shoot.
“I can’t believe there’s not an ostrich emoji because I feel like I look like an ostrich in the best way possible,” she commented, while Kourtney Kardashian also liked Kim’s post.
The influential entrepreneur introduced her new product — available in shades clay and cocoa — on July 29, which was described as a “must-have addition to your nightly routine,” according to a press release.
Kim’s brand also highlighted in an Instagram post that the product is “crafted with signature sculpting fabric and infused with collagen yarns for ultra-soft overnight jaw support.”
Her website mentions that the item features “velcro closures at the top and back of the neck” for “easy, everyday wear.”
While the shapewear has received mixed reviews from skeptical fans, it has attracted the attention of actor Anthony Hopkins.
Hopkins, 87, humorously compared the Skims Face Wrap to his iconic mask from 1991’s The Silence of the Lambs, where he portrayed Hannibal Lecter.
“Hello Kim, I’m already feeling 10 years younger,” he quipped in a video shared in July. “Goodbye.”
