Plathville Recap: Moriah and Veronica Settle Their Feud

Moriah Plath finally had an honest conversation with Veronica Peters on the latest episode of Welcome to Plathville — but did they resolve their differences?

“I’ve been caught up in all the wedding chaos and fun activities,” Moriah, 23, shared during the Tuesday, September 16, episode of the TLC show, mentioning her sister Lydia Plath and Zac Wyse’s wedding.

After the ceremony, Moriah noticed that Micah Plath’s girlfriend, Veronica, was spending a lot of time in the cow pasture. She decided to extend an invitation to her despite having not spoken for months.

“If I’m the reason she’s out there, I want to make sure she feels welcome to come over and join us,” Moriah explained to the cameras. “I want to ensure she doesn’t feel left out or unwanted.”

Micah, 24, opted to join Moriah for the discussion in case tensions arose.

“I was furious because I loved you just as much as Micah, so for you to just disappear — especially during one of the toughest times in my life — I felt like, ‘Wow, she doesn’t care,’” Veronica expressed to Moriah, recalling how Moriah distanced herself after Veronica learned about Micah’s infidelity. (Micah had acknowledged his actions earlier this season but mentioned they were working through the issue.)

Veronica admitted, “I still see you as a sister, but it hurts to love you because I guess I didn’t really know who you were.”

“I did kind of vanish for a while, and I’m truly sorry for that. I knew you and Micah were struggling, and I felt helpless,” Moriah responded. “I ended up feeling like I was causing more pain than offering support.”

Earlier this season, Moriah and Veronica had conflicts after the Plaths accused Veronica of trying to create drama regarding Moriah’s toxic ex-boyfriend.

Moriah wrote a letter to Veronica apologizing for her actions, but Veronica still had grievances about her and the rest of the family, who she claimed labeled her a “liar” and attacked her character.

In this week’s episode, Veronica told Moriah, “I’ve been so fixated on an eye for an eye. … It’s exhausting to stay angry.”

Micah was surprised at how calmly the conversation was going. “I really didn’t expect this to go so smoothly because she told me she literally doesn’t care about Moriah,” he shared in a confessional. “She said she could have been killed by the cartel, and she wouldn’t care.”

Moriah attempted to reassure Veronica that she doesn’t want to be the reason Veronica feels out of place. Yet, Veronica pointed out that it wasn’t just Moriah; their parents, Barry and Kim Plath, allegedly weren’t welcoming, nor was their eldest brother, Ethan Plath, at the wedding.

Although the women parted on good terms, when producers asked if she would consider rekindling her friendship with Veronica, Moriah replied, “No.”

“I genuinely appreciate everything she expressed. I meant all I said. But to be brutally honest, I’ve heard other things she’s said about me to others, and that’s a definite no for me,” Moriah admitted. “I hate to say it, but some people are just not good for you.”

Shortly after the wedding episode was filmed in February, Veronica and Micah ended their relationship. Veronica confirmed their breakup via Instagram in July.

Welcome to Plathville airs on TLC Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET.
