Noah Wyle Dons Bespoke Tuxedo by Scrubs Brand at the 2025 Emmys
In a departure from the usual designer attire, Noah Wyle chose a unique outfit for the 2025 Emmy Awards.
At the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 14, the 54-year-old actor shared details about his distinctive ensemble while walking the red carpet.
“At the Gotham Awards in New York, I wore a tuxedo, and someone asked if it was as comfortable as the scrubs I wear at work,” he recounted to Entertainment Tonight, referencing his role in The Pitt, where he portrays Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch.
He reminisced about looking into the camera during the Gotham Awards and challenged the scrubs brand Figs to create a tuxedo that was “as comfortable” as his character’s scrubs.
Wyle noted that the brand “came through” with the suit just in time for the Emmys. His custom outfit—which isn’t available for public purchase—featured a navy blue blazer with darker lapels, a matching bowtie, a white dress shirt, and coordinating trousers. He highlighted the inner collar embroidery that read “Awesome Human,” embracing their motto. Finishing his look with Manolo Blahnik shoes, he made quite the statement.
“Tonight, Noah is demonstrating that the healthcare community deserves representation at all levels, including the biggest night in television,” stated Trina Spear, CEO and cofounder of FIGS. “By honoring healthcare workers, Noah’s dedication to authentically portraying these remarkable individuals on the red carpet embodies everything FIGS stands for… We are grateful to Noah for advocating for healthcare workers and their stories through his art.”
During the ceremony, Wyle was awarded the trophy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his role in The Pitt. He was up against stiff competition, including Sterling K. Brown, Gary Oldman, Pedro Pascal, and Adam Scott.
During his acceptance speech, Wyle paid tribute to healthcare workers.
“First of all, to my fellow nominees, just being mentioned alongside you is an incredible honor,” he expressed. “And most importantly, to anyone heading to their shift tonight or finishing one, thank you for your dedication. This is for you.”
On the red carpet, Wyle posed alongside his wife, Sara Wells, who radiated elegance in a white beaded dress featuring a strapless neckline, corset bodice, and a flowing column skirt.
She enhanced her ensemble with stunning diamond earrings, a matching necklace, and coordinating bracelets. Her glam emphasized dewy skin, rosy cheeks, long lashes, and perfectly lined lips, complemented by her chic side-parted blonde pixie cut.
