Celebrities Attend Emmy Awards with Family: Photo Highlights

It’s a family celebration! Sofia Vergara, Sandra Oh, and other stars graced the Emmy Awards’ red carpet alongside their family members.

In 2017, Vergara made the event even more special by bringing her then-25-year-old son, Manolo. While she dazzled in a strapless white gown, her son, whom she shares with her high school sweetheart, Joe Gonzalez, looked dapper in a tuxedo.

Manolo, also known for featuring in Head & Shoulders commercials with Vergara, playfully remarked on Instagram at that time that his true reason for attending was to see one particular actress. “I’m honestly just here for Jessica Lange,” he teased.

The roles reversed in 2018 when Oh brought her parents, Young-Nam Oh and Joon-Soo Oh, as her dates for the Emmy Awards. This evening was monumental for the Killing Eve star, as she became the first woman of Asian descent nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
