Lana Del Rey Speaks Out on Plastic Surgery Speculations and Her Previous Appearances

Lana Del Rey has clarified her stance on plastic surgery rumors.

The 40-year-old singer responded to a fan on Instagram on Tuesday, September 24, after a fan remarked about her preference for Del Rey’s “natural nose.”

A fan account shared memories of Del Rey’s look from her 2008 Kill Kill EP, when she performed under the name Lizzy Grant. Del Rey commented that the stage name is still a part of her: “Ugh she never went anywhere, no more of that,” referring to her iconic platinum blonde look. “Box dye hair does not [make] a new person.”

The fan account highlighted Del Rey’s response, and the “Video Games” artist reiterated her feelings, saying, “I don’t like it.” She also confronted additional comments on social media, including one fan who speculated she had undergone rhinoplasty.
