Special Forces Recap: Teresa Takes on Poop Duty During Bizarre Jussie and Kody Discussions
The season 4 premiere of Special Forces left Us questioning if it was all a fever dream, especially when Teresa Giudice earned the title “toilet whisperer” and Jussie Smollett awkwardly connected with Kody Brown.
On the Fox show’s return on Thursday, September 25, audiences met new recruits including Teresa, Jussie, Kody, Brittany Cartwright, Eric Decker, Jessie James Decker, Johnny Manziel, Chanel Iman, Nick Young, Ravi Patel, Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, Andrew East, Shawn Johnson East, Randall Cobb, Mark Estes, Gia Giudice, Eva Marcille, and Christie Pearce.
The group had a rocky beginning as the Directing Staff (DS) instructors teased many of them. Teresa was labeled “stupid,” while Johnny was asked if he brushed his teeth, and Nick’s laid-back demeanor led to a collective punishment. After enduring a mud pit crawl, where their faces were pressed into the mud, they began their first challenge.
The Directing Staff divided the contestants into two factions: Alpha and Bravo. Each group was tasked with jumping from a helicopter, ensuring they descended at the right pace without getting entangled.
This challenge proved difficult for many participants, including Gia and Brittany. The tasks escalated as each recruit had to transport supplies up and down a hill, leaving Jussie, Johnny, Brittany, and others quickly exhausted.

Only a few hours into the social experiment, Brittany considered quitting. Her resolve weakened further when her team was declared the losers for the day and had to run back to basecamp. Brittany ultimately couldn’t keep pace, resulting in her being the first to be eliminated.
As the remaining participants settled in, some friendships started to form. Kody and Jussie appeared to bond until Kody inquired about the actor’s full name. This prompted Kody to remember Jussie’s alleged 2016 hate crime incident, creating a noticeably awkward moment. Kody was later heard chuckling about “second chances” after Jussie exited.
While some contestants grappled with personal connections, Teresa faced a unique challenge when assigned toilet duty.
“For anyone who does poopies, just let me know and I’ll clean it afterward,” she remarked, while Jussie indicated that such a task would make him leave the competition. Viewers saw Teresa diligently working to keep the communal toilet as clean as possible.
Later, Johnny was the first to sit down with the Directing Staff, sharing about his dwindling professional football career and past mental health struggles before being sent back to base. The contestants attempted to catch some sleep, but they were awakened in the middle of the night for drills.
Next week’s sneak peek doesn’t promise an easy ride for the reality stars. Not only will they face a challenge testing their underwater survival skills, but they’ll also have a brutal combat trial that results in injury.
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test airs on Fox Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
