Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco Tie the Knot in a Dreamy Wedding Ceremony
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have officially tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony.
Gomez, 33, posted photos on Instagram from their glamorous wedding in Santa Barbara, California, on Saturday, September 27. The images featured Gomez in a stunning strapless white gown as she held a bouquet of white blossoms.
In one heartfelt capture, Gomez kissed her husband on the nose, while another picture showed Blanco resting his head in her lap.
Us Weekly has exclusively reported that the couple hosted a rehearsal dinner with family and close friends on Friday, September 26, the night before their big day.
Attendees of the star-studded weekend included Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars Paul Rudd, Steve Martin, and Martin Short, though Meryl Streep was unable to join the celebration as she was attending Milan Fashion Week 2025 on the same day.
A source revealed to Us that guests were not informed of the precise locations for the rehearsal or the wedding until less than 24 hours prior. Instead, Gomez and Blanco had arranged shuttle buses to transport guests directly to the venue. Vogue later indicated that the wedding took place at Sea Crest Nursery.
“It’s going to be a huge, A-list, star-studded wedding organized by Mindy Weiss,” an insider shared.
The Only Murders in the Building star and the music producer first stirred dating rumors in December 2023. Gomez later confirmed their relationship on social media, calling Blanco “my absolute everything in my heart” and mentioning they had been together for six months.
Before embarking on their romance, the pair had worked together on several tracks, including “Same Old Love” and “Kill Em With Kindness” from Gomez’s 2015 album, Revival. Their professional relationship blossomed into a friendship that eventually matured into romance.
“It was really straightforward. We entered the studio to create a song and just chatted; that’s how effortless it was for me. I had feelings for him even before he realized he liked me,” Gomez shared during a joint Interview magazine profile with Blanco published in February 2025.
Blanco admitted he “had no idea” Gomez was interested in him at first.
“While in the session, I said, ‘You should meet some of my friends. I can set you up on some dates.’ I hadn’t considered it at all,” he reminisced. “Then we started texting, and we chose to go to dinner the following day. I guess she thought it was a date, but I was oblivious,” he explained. It was only on their “second date” that he realized Gomez had feelings for him.
He continued, “From that moment, everything fell into place. You know when you think you’ve met the right person? It feels completely different. The instant we began spending time together, I knew, ‘This is my wife.’ I told my mom, ‘This is the girl I’m going to marry.’ … She’s my best friend.”
Gomez announced her engagement to Blanco in December 2024, declaring via Instagram, “Forever begins now.”
During a joint appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in March 2025, Blanco revealed that Gomez almost spoiled his proposal plans.
“She nearly didn’t show up,” he recounted. “She said, ‘I’m not feeling well; I think I’ll just stay home today. Can’t we reschedule the shoot?’ And I was left trying to figure out how to pull off the proposal.”
Before her marriage to Blanco, Gomez dated Nick Jonas in 2008, Justin Bieber intermittently from 2010 to 2018, and The Weeknd in 2017.
