Ariana Biermann alleges that Kim Zolciak had her freckles removed with laser treatment at age 14.
Ariana Biermann shared that she once had freckles in her younger days, stating that her mother, Kim Zolciak, erased them without her consent.
The Next Gen NYC reality star, 23, revealed that Zolciak, 47, had her freckles lasered off at the age of 14. She told fans via Instagram that it was a choice she never agreed with.
“Whenever I do my makeup, whether it’s a full look or just a touch, I always add freckles,” she mentioned in a video of her getting ready on Tuesday, October 7.
Biermann recalled Zolciak treating her to “a facial,” which she enjoyed until a friend pointed out, “Girl, where did your freckles go?”
The former Don’t Be Tardy star addressed her concerns with her “facial girl,” who informed her, “Your mom told me you didn’t like them and wanted me to remove them during the facial, like, with laser.”
Biermann was taken aback by this revelation since she “loved her freckles.”
Now, the influencer still has a few angel kisses left, but “they’re more prominent on one side of [her] face than the other.”
Biermann mentioned that she recently discussed this incident with Zolciak. “She just started laughing,” she said about her mom’s reaction, affectionately calling the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum a “jackass.”
“Now I add them onto my face because I no longer have them due to someone’s decision to remove them. I didn’t want them gone. Nobody communicated that to me. Literally nobody did,” she explained.
Biermann now relies on faux freckles to craft her desired appearance, adding, “So now, I’m always stamping them on and trying to make them resemble what I had growing up.”
The Bravo personality emphasized that she adores her mother dearly but still criticizes the decision as “insane.”
Zolciak even poked fun at the video, responding with multiple laughing emojis.
This summer, Biermann clarified her relationship with Zolciak and her adoptive father, Kroy Biermann, after alleging they “took my money” to help cover essential bills and other expenses during the June 3 season premiere of Next Gen NYC.
Ariana exclusively informed Us Weekly that she aimed to dispel rumors about her spending her parents’ money, asserting, “that’s obviously not the case.”
“I’m just focused on building my own income and supporting myself as a 23-year-old while grabbing every opportunity to bounce back,” Ariana expressed to Us ahead of the season debut, indicating she’s in a favorable financial situation and pleased to see Zolciak and Kroy, 40, making progress.
“I think I’m the [most] financially stable I’ve been in my life, which is fantastic. My mom is also doing great,” Ariana said, celebrating her mom’s hard work and upcoming projects, adding that her dad is also active, “so everything is moving forward in the right direction.”
