Kylie Kelce Shares How Taylor Swift Significantly Influences Her Daughters
Kylie Kelce is providing more details on how her and Jason Kelce‘s daughters have developed a special bond with their aunt Taylor Swift.
“I grew up surrounded by cats,” Kylie, 34, shared during the Thursday, August 20, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. “In my childhood home, we always had both dogs and cats. Now, our kids have influences in their lives — Aunt Taylor being a significant one — and they get to be around cats.”
Kylie went on to say, “Then we return home, and there are no cats; they’re like, ‘But we want cats.’ … I’m like, ‘Jason, I need you to focus here! There is a demand for cats in this house.’”
Kylie and Jason, 38, are parents to four daughters: Wyatt, 6, Ellie, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finn, 16 months.
Swift, 36, proudly owns three cats — Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button — who are almost as adored by her fans as the pop star herself. Meanwhile, Kylie has been striving to persuade her husband to reconsider getting a cat in a running joke featured in both of their podcasts.
The Grammy winner started dating Jason’s brother, Travis Kelce, in 2023. The couple tied the knot last month in New York City, but Kylie has remained relatively private about the wedding happenings.

“I want to extend my congratulations to Tay and Trav; it was truly magical,” she expressed on the July 23 episode of her podcast. “I’m really thrilled for them, [and I] love them so dearly. It was simply making it official because Taylor has been family for quite a while now, so that’s how it is.”
She added, “For anything else, you can check in with Taylor and Travis, as they can share any details they wish. Other than that, it was an intimate, incredible occasion, brimming with love — for one another and for the love everyone else has for them.”
While the newlyweds have yet to release any photos from their special day, Travis, 36, expressed his excitement about his “fun” summer as he initiated NFL training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs.
“The wedding was the best night of my life,” he stated on August 12. “I’m grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. That’s all I really have to say about that night. It was a wild and celebratory evening.”
The couple chose to forgo traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen for their star-studded event at Madison Square Garden. However, they did not skip the flower girl tradition, with Kylie and Jason’s daughters stealing the spotlight.
“It was a memorable occasion for our whole family, and my daughters are amazing,” Jason remarked to the Reno Gazette Journal last month. “They’re beautiful with incredible personalities. And Travis and Taylor adore them.”
