Why Joe Bradley and Nathan Gallagher from Below Deck Haven’t Kept in Touch
Below Deck Mediterranean enthusiasts who enjoy the camaraderie of Joe Bradley and Nathan Gallagher may be surprised to learn that the two haven’t stayed in touch since wrapping up season 10.
In an exclusive chat with Us Weekly, Joe shared that he has “yet” to meet Nathan and Gael Cameron‘s newborn.
“But from what I’ve seen on social media, he is absolutely adorable,” Joe remarked about the couple’s first child, born in June. “I did attempt to reach out to Nathan a few times.”
Joe expressed that Nathan is probably “busy these days.”
“He’s a dad now, and he could be out on a boat somewhere — I’m not really sure,” he added. “We’re not exactly the most socially active people [and] don’t chat much, but from what I can see, that baby is absolutely beautiful.”
In his reflections on this relationship milestone, Joe lauded Nathan and Gael’s connection.
“At this moment — around the time I returned [to the show] — Nathan had strong feelings for Gael. It’s a blessing that they rekindled their relationship because what they share is pure love,” he expressed. “We can only hope as humans to find such profound love. It’s truly a gift that they’ve welcomed a baby into their lives, and I couldn’t be happier.”

Nathan and Gael initially connected during season 9 of Below Deck Mediterranean. After a shaky start, they found their way back to each other post-filming, navigating their relationship ups and downs before growing their family.
“With Gael, everything happened incredibly quickly. We formed a very strong connection. Over time, we just flowed along,” Nathan told Us exclusively in July 2024. “I wanted to avoid putting any pressure on her and just let things evolve as they did.”
The couple surprised Bravo fans with the announcement of Gael’s pregnancy.
“A bit delayed for the end of the year, but 2024 has been a year to remember 🎉 So many wonderful moments to cherish: I’ve covered four continents, become a dive instructor, earned my MOY 200gt, appeared on your TV — Below Deck S9 — and reunited with my significant other, just to name a few,” Gael shared on Instagram in January. “However, there were also many challenges and lessons amidst the joy. Coming off a bike in a head-on collision, navigating some of the toughest emotional lows alone are the aspects you don’t see. But, as mentioned, lessons… and there’s no greater opportunity for growth.”
She added: “Thank you for the friends, opportunities, highs, lows, and lessons from 2024. I’m aware 2025 is likely to turn my world upside down and present brand new challenges, but I truly can’t wait ❤️🎉.”
Before reconnecting with Gael, Nathan enjoyed his time as bosun in season 10 alongside Joe, where the two quickly became friends again.
“Having Nathan as my boss was refreshing; it’s inspiring to see someone grow. However, don’t misunderstand; you will witness a very different side of Nathan this season. If you’re a bit more organized, things tend to flow better,” Joe joked with Us. “He’s the boss, and I fully respect his authority.”
Joe reflected on not wanting to “step on any toes” upon joining Bravado.
“I want to be there for a dear friend while respecting a professional role, regardless of who it is,” he elaborated. “So was I anxious? Not at all. I merely want to support him. That’s my perspective.”
Below Deck Med airs on Bravo Mondays at 8 p.m. ET, with new episodes available to stream the following day on Peacock.
