Stefon Diggs Confirmed as Father of Model’s Baby Through Paternity Test
The outcomes of a paternity test confirmed that Cardi B’s partner, NFL player Stefon Diggs, is the father of model Aileen Lopera’s baby girl.
“We can officially confirm that Mr. Diggs is the father,” stated Lopera’s attorney, Tamar Arminak, in a message to Us Weekly on Thursday, November 6.“We are hopeful that he will play a significant role in the child’s life and co-parent with our client, who has managed everything alone up to this point.”

Lopera, who goes by Lord Giselle on Instagram, filed a paternity lawsuit against Diggs, 31, in Los Angeles in December 2024. She sought both legal and physical custody of her child, who was born in April. Lopera named her Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera.
In her lawsuit, Lopera also requested that the court order Diggs to pay child support and cover the expenses incurred during her pregnancy, in addition to her legal fees.
In July, the wide receiver for the New England Patriots responded to the suit, expressing uncertainty about his paternity and requesting genetic testing. He also sought joint legal and physical custody of the child, contingent on the test results.
“My client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledges and supports his infant daughter in Los Angeles,” Arminak mentioned to Us Weekly in September.
That month, Cardi, 33, disclosed in an interview with Gayle King, “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs. I’m thrilled.”
She added: “I’m feeling great. I sense that I’m in a wonderful place. I feel empowered, especially while working and creating a baby at the same time.”
Recently, Diggs shared during his appearance at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City that he and Cardi are expecting a boy, due “soon.”
Cardi and her estranged spouse, Offset, are parents to three children: Kulture Kiari Cephus, 7, Wave Set Cephus, 4, and Blossom Belle, 1.
Cardi told King, 70, that Diggs makes her feel “safe, confident, and empowered.” He recently offered her a pep talk during a tough time surrounding her latest album, Am I the Drama?
“I was crying a lot because I felt anxious about the album’s release,” the rapper explained. “People were coming at me hard; you know, some love you while others don’t. And some were saying very hurtful things about me.”
Cardi added, “I thought, ‘This is why I don’t release music?’ This is my art, something I dedicated time to, and when people tear it apart, it crushes me. He told me, ‘Girl, you better get it together.’ … Feeling safe and confident makes you feel capable of conquering the world.”
Recently, Cardi reacted to Lopera’s lawsuit and appeared unfazed, stating via an Instagram Live, “That’s your baby daddy, bitch? That’s my baby daddy too. So what? I don’t know. We’ll figure it out, bitch.”
