Lily Allen Shows Off Her Thong in Sheer Dress Following David Harbour Breakup
Lily Allen is embracing her bold side.
At the Hunger Games: On Stage premiere on Wednesday, November 12, Allen, 40, showcased her figure in a transparent dress amidst news of her separation from husband David Harbour.
Posing on the red carpet, the singer dazzled in a vintage 1999 Dior crochet dress, characterized by long sleeves and a semi-sheer design. Beneath her floor-length skirt, she opted for a minimal thong, allowing her daring style to take center stage with understated silver rings as her only accessories.
Enhancing her sultry appearance, Allen sported smokey eyeshadow and long lashes, finishing her look with radiant skin, bronzed cheeks, and glossy, lined lips. Her black hair was styled in a chic, messy updo, with baby bangs elegantly framing her forehead.
Her captivating outfit comes on the heels of her new album, West End Girl, which reflects on her tumultuous divorce from Harbour, 50.
“I don’t feel like I’m being unkind. It was just the emotions I was processing at that moment,” she shared with Interview magazine.
She continued, “My perspective on the situation has changed significantly. Breakups are always incredibly painful, but it’s not common to feel inspired to write about it while it’s happening.”
Throughout the album, Allen narrates her relationship journey, beginning with a move to New York City together, which ultimately culminated in her returning to London shortly thereafter.
Upon returning home, Allen discovered a text from a woman named Madeline on Harbour’s phone.
“How long has this been happening? Is it purely physical, or is there an emotional connection?” she questions in her song titled “Madeline.”
The album further addresses an ex, labeling him a “sex addict,” and hints at an open relationship that “fell apart.”
Harbour, the Stranger Things star, has not publicly responded to Allen’s album. In April, he shared some thoughts about their relationship with British GQ, stating, “I’m protective of my loved ones and my personal reality.” He added, “Engaging in that way [with rumors] is pointless, as it’s all based on exaggerated narratives.”
Earlier this month, Allen also wowed in a daring outfit at the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City.
