Alix Earle Dazzles at DWTS Finale: “I’ve Shed So Many Tears”
Alix Earle is all set for the Dancing With the Stars finale.
On Tuesday, November 25, Earle, 24, took to TikTok to showcase her final preparations ahead of the season 34 finale.
“It’s bittersweet here. I can’t believe how quickly it went by,” she remarked as makeup artist Alison Gladieux applied a light brown eyeshadow to her lids. “I’m feeling good vibes today because I’ve cried so much this week; there’s no tears left at this moment.”
Earle explained that she left her house at 5:30 a.m. before starting hair and makeup at 6 a.m.
“We’ve completed our two routines so far — we’ll have three dances tonight,” Earle mentioned about her and pro Val Chmerkovskiy’s upcoming numbers. She added that post-show, she’s jumping on a plane to New York City for an appearance on Good Morning America.
“I’ll probably still be in this hair and makeup for Good Morning America tomorrow,” she joked.
Gladieux proceeded to blend a lighter shade into Earle’s lids and applied concealer beneath her eyes. As she worked, the makeup artist acknowledged that the season’s end is going to feel like “a bit of a comedown” for her.
She also expressed excitement, stating that tonight’s three routines are her favorites from the season. Earle and Chmerkovskiy, 39, will perform a samba to “Hip Hip Chin Chin” by Club des Belgas for the judges’ choice round, and a mashup of Nelly Furtado’s “Maneater” and Tate McRae’s “Sports Car” for her freestyle. Earle mentioned that her third performance remains a surprise for her.
Just minutes before the Instant Dance challenge, Earle and Chmerkovskiy will learn the song and style they will be dancing to. Earle also introduced Lauren Jauregui, who had been eliminated earlier in the season. (The season 34 cast will reunite for the finale.)
Earle’s completed glam featured bronzed skin — courtesy of her spray tan “last night” — flushed cheeks, winged eyeliner, long lashes, and pink lips. Her blonde hair was styled in a half-updo with curls at the ends.
Upon returning to her dressing room, Earle found gifts waiting for her, including a sparkly paddle from her mom and photos documenting her journey with Chmerkovskiy throughout the season.
“This is so touching,” she said, her emotions evident. “Thank you all for your support this season. Regardless of the outcome tonight, I am incredibly grateful to have made it to the finale.”
She wrapped up the video by expressing her “excitement” for her “teammates,” or fellow competitors, including Dylan Efron, Jordan Chiles, and Robert Irwin. “Everyone feels like a best friend at this point,” she added enthusiastically.
Dancing With the Stars airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.
