Andy Cohen Embraces Barefoot Trend on Today Show to Advocate for Shoe-Free Workspaces
Andy Cohen is championing a new trend in workplaces that embrace going shoeless — and he showcased his support live on television.
During the episode of Today With Jenna & Friends on Tuesday, November 25, Cohen, 57, spoke about this rising footwear-free movement while cohosting and even removed a shoe and sock for the audience.
“I’m totally on board with this. I love letting my feet breathe, to be free, bark like a dog,” he shared with cohost Jenna Bush Hager from behind the desk. “I’ve got beautiful feet. Absolutely legendary.”
With one foot bare, Cohen raised his leg to shoulder height to give viewers a closer look.
“How is it that you’re so flexible? Your feet look so nice,” Hager, 44, remarked after complimenting Cohen’s feet.

Hager’s comment about flexibility prompted Cohen, who mentioned he gets pedicures “occasionally,” to wiggle his toes for the cameras, adding, “For all the foot fetishists watching Today, you’re welcome.”
The Guardian reported on September 30 that numerous organizations in Britain “are experimenting with no-shoes policies aiming to enhance focus, comfort, and morale.” Just a week earlier, Fortune highlighted that the “最热的工作场所政策在创业公司时下是去鞋”。
Cohen’s advocacy for barefoot work culture was also mentioned earlier this month on his talk show Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. When guest Isla Fisher complained about her Now You See Me co-star Woody Harrelson not wearing closed shoes, Cohen responded, “I fully support flip-flops.”
Fisher, 49, remarked that one needs to have “really great feet” to wear flip-flops, to which Cohen replied, “I’ll tell you that not only do I have pristine feet, but every time I accidentally post them, foot fetishists from around the world reach out to me.”
Indeed, a site dedicated to showcasing Cohen’s feet (featured mostly from his social media) has been discovered by Us Weekly, featuring over 100 images and videos of him in flip-flops or without any footwear.
Foot fetishes are quite common in the celebrity sphere, with Tyson Beckford even confessing his during an appearance on WWHL in July. The 54-year-old model shared his views during a segment where Cohen prompted guests to discuss their deal-breakers in relationships. Beckford mentioned that he doesn’t like paying for every date, but he appreciates nice feet.
“Oh, absolutely,” Beckford agreed when asked if he’d date someone with a foot fetish. “I have a foot fetish.” He then took an admiring look at fellow guest Octavia Spencer’s feet and declared, “She has nice feet.”
Other notable foot aficionados include Orlando Bloom, as revealed by ex-wife Miranda Kerr in a 2013 interview with Into the Gloss: “Orlando and I share a thing with nails — he has a bit of a foot fetish.”
Joe Jonas also mentioned in a 2024 episode of the “Therapuss With Jake Shane” podcast that he takes pride in a high rating on a foot fetish site. “And since receiving this rating, I’ve been taking much better care of my feet than ever,” he said at the time.
