Who Will Be the Host of the 2026 Grammy Awards?
The host for the ceremony has yet to be announced. Trevor Noah was the presenter for the past two Grammy Awards in 2024 and 2025.
“I have no idea what’s coming, which is what I love about the Grammys—it’s live; it’s happening,” Noah shared in an interview with CBS News in 2024. “It’s real-time. … The thing about award shows is that everyone enjoys a good joke when it doesn’t involve them, and your aim is to make a joke about someone they also find amusing.”
Grammy Nominations Announced
Kendrick Lamar tops the nominations with nine, while Jack Antonoff and Lady Gaga each garnered seven. Bad Bunny, Leon Thomas, and Sabrina Carpenter all received six nominations.
The highly sought-after Album of the Year nominees include Debí Tirar Más Fotos (Bad Bunny), Swag (Justin Bieber), Man’s Best Friend (Sabrina Carpenter), Let God Sort Em Out (Clipse), Mayhem (Lady Gaga), GNX (Kendrick Lamar), Mutt (Leon Thomas), and Chromokopia (Tyler, the Creator).
This year also marked a significant breakthrough for Best New Artist nominees Olivia Dean, Katseye, The Marías, Addison Rae, Sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, and Lola Young.
“I was completely taken aback,” Rae expressed in an interview with The Los Angeles Times in December 2025 upon receiving her first nomination. “The night before the nominations were revealed, my managers suggested gathering to watch it, which added so much pressure. I often wondered about those who post videos of their reactions to nominations, thinking, ‘What if it doesn’t happen? Do they secretly have confetti?’”
Rae chose to view the announcement from her manager’s office, characterizing it as “very relaxed.”
“I had gone through all the prediction lists, and the only platform anticipating my nomination was Pitchfork,” she noted. “So the chances didn’t seem promising for me. When they announced my name, I gasped—that was all I could manage to say.”
Rae gained fame as part of the TikTok “Hype House” in 2020 alongside Warren.
