‘Johnny Mnemonic’ (1995)

However, this cyberpunk gem remains quite enjoyable, adapted from the work of William Gibson, a pioneer of the genre and the original author of Johnny Mnemonic.
Set in the dystopian year of 2021, Johnny (Reeves) is a courier tasked with transporting sensitive information embedded in his cybernetic mind. During what seems like a routine delivery, assassins target Johnny and inadvertently destroy the key to accessing the data. With his life on the line, Johnny must rely on a stranger, Jane (Dina Meyer), to help him survive. Dolph Lundgren offers a comedic performance as the Street Preacher, an assassin who chases Johnny and Jane throughout the film.

‘My Girl’ (1991)
While Macaulay Culkin may have been the bigger name during the release of My Girl, it’s undeniably Anna Chlumsky‘s film. ‘Dawn of the Dead’ (2004)
George A. Romero’s original Dawn of the Dead is regarded as one of the early masterpieces of zombie cinema, but director Zack Snyder’s 2004 remake provides unexpected thrills.
