Lisa Rinna from The Traitors Responds to Colton Underwood’s ‘Stalker’ Remark
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Lisa Rinna is clarifying her “stalker” remark directed at fellow The Traitors cast member Colton Underwood.
“Hi, everyone, so I’ve noticed that my post, which I made in my Housewife persona, is spiraling out of control and causing real issues for Colton. I don’t want that because Colton and I are on great terms,” Rinna, 62, stated in a video she shared on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, January 24.
“He was and is a fantastic nemesis for me on the show,” the reality star elaborated. “As you know, if you want me to act like a Housewife, I’ll dive right in. That’s what I was doing—all for the sake of the game. Just to clarify, I’m totally good with Colton. We’ve been texting and chatting, and everything is just fine.”
The day prior, on Friday, January 23, Rinna referred to Underwood, 33, as a “stalker,” referencing the Bachelor alum’s previous alleged harassment of ex-girlfriend Cassie Randolph.
(In September 2020, reports emerged that Randolph successfully obtained a restraining order against Underwood after claiming he planted a tracker on her vehicle and was stalking her. Randolph later rescinded the restraining order two months later, and they settled their dispute privately.)
“Let’s talk about you being a stalker…” Rinna posted on Friday after a fan shared a meme of her from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, cautioning Underwood not to make an enemy of Rinna.)

“I feel terrible about the backlash, as I don’t want to harm anyone,” Rinna shared in a second video posted on Saturday through Instagram. “I’m here to enjoy the game, and Colton is a fantastic rival for me. We had an amazing time filming together. So please, everyone, be kind. It’s a game. It’s a TV show. We’re all trying our best. Please avoid sending death threats or doing anything that could endanger someone’s family.”
Rinna further explained to enthusiastic fans that she and Underwood “had a blast” shooting the show, admitting that her reality competition experience was “really challenging.”
“It’s all part of the game, even after the cameras stop rolling,” she added. “So everyone, take a deep breath and know that everything is all right. It’s just a game. It’s a game. Try to view it like a sporting event, as if you were watching football or wrestling, and be gentle with everyone because we all do our best.”
That same day, the show itself released a statement via X denouncing the harassment and cyberbullying of its cast.
“We are devoted to making our cast feel safe, respected, and supported—both on-screen and off,” the statement read on Saturday. “The cast of The Traitors are real individuals, and the happenings in the game should never result in cyberbullying or harassment. There’s a line between discussing a show and attacking individuals.”
The statement concluded, “Let’s not spoil our enthusiasm for this show with unnecessary negativity and personal assaults. We sincerely appreciate your support.”
