The Gentlemen Revived Amid Speculation Surrounding Meghan Markle’s Casting
The Gentlemen has been confirmed for a third season amid speculation that Meghan Markle might be joining the cast.
“Ambition is unstoppable. The Gentlemen Season 2, featuring Theo James and Kaya Scodelario, premieres NEXT THURSDAY,” Netflix announced via its official X account on Monday, August 24. “As for Season 3? It’s official.”

U previously reported that she was in initial discussions for a lead role in Guy Ritchie’s series. However, as per reports by Tina Brown, former editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair and The New Yorker, the offer was retracted due to negative feedback.
This would mark Meghan’s first role since the former Suits actress stepped away from her career in 2017 after her engagement to husband Prince Harry. Neither Meghan nor anyone associated with The Gentlemen has confirmed her potential casting.
Meghan’s possible return to acting follows the announcement about her and Harry relocating back to the U.K. The couple left the U.K. in 2020 after stepping back from their senior royal duties, stating their desire for financial independence and to raise their family in a healthier environment.
