Travis Kelce Quips About Gaining Weight from Taylor Swift’s Sourdough
Travis Kelce has been thoroughly enjoying his fiancée Taylor Swift’s sourdough obsession a bit too much.
In a sneak peek of the latest episode of Kylie Kelce’s podcast, “Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce,” set to release on Friday, February 7, Travis humorously commented on how much he has indulged in the singer’s baked creations.
“Hi, I’m Travis Kelce, Kylie Kelce’s brother-in-law and I’m not going to lie, I broke Taylor’s chair from the weight I gained from her sourdough,” Travis, 36, quipped in the clip shared via social media on Thursday, February 6. He then added, “Good gut health though.”
Reacting to Travis’s confession, Kylie, who is married to Travis’s brother Jason Kelce, joked, “That’s true love.”
Kylie’s comment led Travis to address Swift, laughing as he said, “Love you!”
Kylie, 33, seized the moment to express her love for the “Opalite” singer as well. “I love you too!” she replied.
Swift, 36, previously shared her love for baking, especially sourdough.
“I have a new baking obsession every six months. Right now, we’re really into sourdough,” Swift explained while guesting on Travis and Jason’s “New Heights” podcast in August 2025. She mentioned experimenting with flavors like cinnamon swirl and blueberry lemon.
“Sourdough has taken over my life massively. I’m literally talking about bread 60 percent of the time now,” she said with a laugh. “It’s become such a huge focus.”

Swift later admitted that the sourdough enthusiasm in her home has become “pretty crazy.” “I’m on, like, sourdough blogs. There’s a whole community of us,” she shared.
Several of her famous friends have been fortunate enough to receive Swift’s baked goods. The “Bad Blood” singer has sent sourdough loaves to the Chiefs training camp, as well as to her longtime friend Selena Gomez and her husband Benny Blanco.
During her “New Heights” appearance, Swift revealed she made something special for Kylie and Jason’s daughters: Wyatt, 6, Ellie, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finn, 10 months.
“This one I’ve been working on for the girls, because they love everything rainbow: Funfetti sourdough,” Swift shared. “They adore sprinkles. We put sprinkles in everything when we hang out.”
Months later, Kylie praised Swift’s baking talent during an episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast.
“We have some renowned bakers in the family,” Kylie stated on a November 2025 episode. “Taylor makes an amazing sourdough loaf. It’s so good. And her pop-tarts are fantastic.”
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay even chimed in on Swift’s sourdough passion after she made her revelation.
In August 2025, Ramsay, 59, shared an Instagram video of himself slicing a perfectly baked sourdough loaf and tagged both Travis and Swift.
“I know a thing or two about sourdough,” Ramsay wrote. “Just saying @taylorswift and @killatrav 😉.”
Travis responded with a playful acknowledgment, sharing a series of emojis: “😂😂😂🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🍞🍞.”
The official Instagram account for the “New Heights” podcast also replied with a clever Swift song pun, asking, “Are you bready for it?”
