The 43-year-old actress appeared timeless in a stylish outfit as she graced the runway during New York Fashion Week. Hathaway captivated the audience in a black dress with a halter neckline complemented by semi-sheer lace accents on her bodice. The dress flowed gracefully into a skirt adorned with a delicate train and ruffle layers.
To elevate her look, she donned a cozy brown fur coat that she elegantly draped over her arms. Hathaway opted for gold chunky hoop earrings and a matching ring, finishing off her ensemble with a delicate bracelet.
For her makeup, Hathaway achieved a stunning look with a radiant base highlighting her flawless skin, along with contoured and blushed cheeks. Her eyeshadows accentuated her brown eyes, featuring bronzy tones in the crease and bold black eyeliner. She completed her makeup with well-defined brows and soft pink lipstick. Hathaway has been candid about the challenges of aging in the spotlight, further opening up about her perspective during a conversation with Today in September 2023.
Initially, she reflected on a declaration she made over ten years ago: “When I look back on my 20s, I just remember being afraid of everything. And in my 30s, I’m actually excited about things.”
Now in her 40s, Hathaway expressed that she’s “cherishing” each moment. “I’m at a stage where I have a much clearer understanding of how I prefer to navigate life and a deeper appreciation for the various approaches available.”
She added, “I’m very much looking forward to crafting my own narrative. I’ve become better at sharing my thoughts and being compassionate towards both myself and others.” Hathaway also mentioned, “If I’m fortunate enough to be a woman experiencing aging in her 80s, I’m laying the groundwork now.” She expressed her enthusiasm for “growth and development.”
When reflecting on milestone birthdays, Hathaway emphasized that she doesn’t focus on age.
“I was a teenager surrounded by adults, which made me comfortable with the fact that my age was different,” she reflected. “I had friends who were 30, 40, or even 50 years older than me.” Hathaway also mentioned that discussing someone’s appearance can be a deeply personal matter.
“To me, aging is simply another term for living,” she stated. “If someone wants to offer a compliment, that’s lovely, but I’m more intrigued by what lies beyond the superficial.”
Hathaway experienced another moment of excitement when she resembled her iconic character Andy Sachs from Devil Wears Prada at the Michael Kors fashion show in September 2022. Watching the runway with Anna Wintour, the inspiration for her character’s boss Miranda Priestly, she sported a stylish brown leather jacket, coupled with an elegant ponytail.
