Brooklyn Beckham Pledges to ‘Protect’ Nicola Peltz in Heartfelt Valentine Tribute
Brooklyn Beckham and his spouse, Nicola Peltz Beckham, marked Valentine’s Day 2026 with a display of affection amid ongoing tensions with his well-known family.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, baby,” Brooklyn, 26, captioned a selfie on Instagram, featuring the pair sharing a kiss on the floor. “I am the luckiest person in the world to call you my valentine every year.”
He added, “I love you more than you know, and I will always protect and cherish you.”
Nicola, 31, also posted the same affectionate photo on her Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt message of her own.
“I love you more every day,” the actress wrote. “I’m so lucky to have you as my forever valentine. You’re the most beautiful person, and I love sharing life with you.”
Ever since their marriage in 2022, Brooklyn and Nicola have been rumored to have created a rift with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
“My parents have made countless attempts to sabotage my relationship since before I got married, and it hasn’t stopped,” Brooklyn stated in an extensive social media post last month, asserting that David, 50, and Victoria, 51, “repeatedly pressured and tried to manipulate” him into relinquishing rights to his name.
He claimed, “They insisted I sign before my wedding date as it would trigger the terms of the deal. My reluctance impacted the payout, and their treatment of me has changed drastically since then.”
Brooklyn emphasized that he has no desire to mend fences with his family—David and Victoria also have children Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14—and refuted claims that Nicola was the cause of the estrangement.
“I have been under my parents’ control for most of my life, living with intense anxiety,” Brooklyn alleged. “For the first time since distancing myself from my family, that anxiety has lifted. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose and have found peace.”
He noted that he and Nicola “do not desire a life defined by image, media, or manipulation.”
“All we seek is peace, privacy, and happiness for ourselves and our future family,” he concluded, explaining why they had a vow renewal ceremony last year. “We wanted to renew our vows to create joyful memories of our wedding day, rather than anxiety and embarrassment.”
Brooklyn and Nicola celebrated their vow renewal in August 2025, with no family members present.
“It was beautiful. We just wanted a truly lovely experience—a memorable moment,” he shared with People later that month. “Honestly, I could renew my vows with her every day. Finding that special person to share your life with changes you profoundly. It was a really sweet, fun occasion.”
Neither David nor Victoria have publicly commented on their estrangement from Brooklyn or his accusations. However, the Cloud23 founder has moved past the drama.
“Brooklyn’s living his life,” a source revealed to Us Weekly last month. “He’s happy, wealthy, and has everything going for him. He enjoys his freedom. He and Nicola aren’t waiting for a call.”
