Harry Styles Discloses the 1996 Track That Accompanied His Virginity Experience

Harry Styles opened up about the hit single that served as the backdrop for his first intimate experience.

“I lost my virginity to ‘Talk Show Host,’” Styles, 32, shared about Radiohead’s 1996 track while paying tribute to Thom Yorke at the Ivor Novello Awards in London on Thursday, May 21.

He humorously added, “I lost my virginity to the intro of ‘Talk Show Host.’” The crowd burst into laughter since the song’s intro lasts a mere 10 seconds.

This isn’t the first time Styles has been candid about his romantic life. In 2022, he mentioned to Better Homes & Gardens that he felt his sex life was the “only thing” truly his.

“For a long time, it felt like the only thing that was mine was my sex life,” he reflected. “I felt so ashamed about it, embarrassed at the thought of people knowing I was having sex, let alone with whom.”

Styles continued, “Back then, there were still kiss-and-tell situations. Figuring out who I could trust was quite stressful. But eventually, I thought, ‘Why do I feel ashamed?’ I’m a 26-year-old man who’s single; it’s like, yes, I have sex.”

He also addressed the topic of people questioning his sexuality, which he found “outdated.”

“I’ve been quite open about it with my friends, but that’s my personal experience; it’s mine,” he stated. “The goal should be to accept everyone and be more open. It shouldn’t matter, and we shouldn’t feel the need to label everything or clarify which boxes we’re ticking.”

In April, reports surfaced that Styles is allegedly engaged to Zoë Kravitz after eight months of dating.

Engagement rumors began circulating when Kravitz was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand, which appeared to be an oval cut.

The couple was first seen together in August 2025 in Italy. At the time, a source informed Us Weekly, “They are very similar and free-spirited, so they connected quickly and share a lot of chemistry.”

By December, an insider told Us that Styles had received a nod of approval from her father, Lenny Kravitz.

“He thinks they are a great match,” the source revealed. “Lenny believes they genuinely make each other happy and have a relaxed relationship, like best friends who are dating.”
