Taylor Frankie Paul Shares Co-Parenting Update on Son Ever

Taylor Frankie Paul shared details about her current coparenting situation with ex Dakota Mortensen regarding their son, Ever.

The star of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, 32, posted an Instagram Story on Sunday, May 31, discussing her court-mandated supervised visits while spending time with 2-year-old Ever. “I think all the projects and renovations are a fresh start but mostly a coping mechanism to distract from the fact my baby hasn’t been here for months now, except for visits,” she wrote.

Paul included a photo of herself working on a scooter while sitting on the floor of her home. In a previous Story, she had also noted her interest in restoring an old golf buggy.

“I miss you, baby,” she captioned another Instagram Story featuring a photo of her and Ever holding hands.

Filming for season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was halted in March following another domestic violence incident involving the couple. While neither faced criminal charges, the controversy resulted in Paul’s season of The Bachelorette being canceled by ABC just days before its planned premiere.

Mortensen and Paul are set to appear in court on Monday, June 1, to discuss their custody arrangement.

On Sunday, Paul also posted an Instagram reflecting on the conclusion of Mental Health Awareness Month. “Still processing how two shows were put on pause. It’s fine to smile again after mistakes. Today marks the end of Mental Health Awareness Month, and just remember if you’re struggling, you’re not alone.”

The images included Indy as well as Paul wearing a T-shirt that read, “If you find me offensive then I suggest you quit finding me.” Another image displayed a list of checked emotional symptoms with the caption, “It said check any you struggle with currently for therapy.”

Symptoms included “low motivation,” “low self-esteem,” as well as “tearful or crying spells,” “panic,” “hopelessness,” and “chronic pain.”
