Guide to Watching the 2026 Tony Awards: Date, Time, and Details

Broadway shines bright, and the 2026 Tony Awards are set to begin, celebrating the best in theatre.

The prestigious awards ceremony, organized by the American Theatre Wing, will be broadcast live on Sunday, June 7, featuring rock superstar Pink as part of the celebration for this year’s outstanding Broadway productions.

“It’s a lifetime honor to host a night dedicated to the hardest working individuals in entertainment,” Pink remarked in a press statement. “Broadway has influenced my journey and my artistic vision — it’s a nurturing, inclusive community filled with immense talent and affection. These artists create magic every day, and I can’t wait to honor them before a global audience.”

She added, “When I received the invitation to host the Tonys, my first thought was, ‘I need to consult my daughter.’ I’ve never set foot on a Broadway stage, and I feel one should have that experience to host, right? But when I asked my daughter, she was thrilled about the chance to attend the Tonys, so here I am, hosting! I’m both excited and nervous — she’s a tough audience!”

What Pink Has Teased About Her 2026 Tony Awards Debut

Pink, who has yet to perform on Broadway, expressed on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Tuesday, June 2, that she was “terri-cited”—a blend of terrified and excited—to host the Tonys.

“I mean, I might fall, but that’ll be fun,” she admitted. “I always tell my audience, ‘If I fall, laugh so we can move forward.’ I’m thrilled. It’s going to be absurd. My only rule was to poke fun at myself the moment I step on stage, no matter how that happens, and that’s my plan.”

Pink further shared with CBS Mornings that the show will include “acrobatic moments,” reminiscent of her concert performances.
