A Timeline of Jason Tartick and Kathryn Hurley’s Relationship
Jason Tartick and his partner Kathryn Hurley have found their perfect companionship, beginning with an adorable encounter during a dog adoption event.
Following the adoption of his golden retriever, Teddy, in March 2025 from Wags & Walks Nashville—an organization founded by Hurley, who also serves as its executive director—Tartick shared with Us Weekly that his ideal partner must “love dogs.”
“She needs to be a big fan of Teddy and have a passion for rescue animals. That’s incredibly important,” the Bachelor Nation star noted about his dream girlfriend in July 2025.
Just four months later, Us confirmed exclusively that Tartick and Hurley were in a relationship after they were seen together enjoying each other’s company in early November 2025.

March 2025
Tartick revealed on March 4 that he had adopted Teddy from Wags & Walks Nashville, after previously having shared two golden retrievers with his ex-fiancée Kaitlyn Bristowe. (The couple announced their separation in August 2023, after a four-year engagement.)
“Not certain who rescued whom, but we found each other! Thanks to @wagsandwalksnashville,” he captioned a video on Instagram showing the moment he signed the adoption paperwork, officially becoming Teddy’s dad.
Hurley, who established Wags & Walks Nashville in 2019, expressed to People that the organization was “ecstatic to have helped Jason discover his forever pup!” (It remains unclear if they had direct interactions at that time.)
She further elaborated, “At Wags & Walks, we truly believe every rescue dog has a perfect match, and witnessing those connections makes our efforts so fulfilling. Jason’s choice to adopt not only transforms his dog’s life but also amplifies awareness about the vital need to give rescue dogs a second chance.”
April 2025
Us reported that Hurley amicably concluded her marriage with musician Rajiv Dhall after nearly five years. The former couple finalized their divorce later in the year.
September 2025
After residing in Nashville for several years, Tartick declared on September 23 that he and Teddy had relocated to New York City.
November 2025
The Bachelorette alum was seen getting close with Hurley during the opening of Craig’s restaurant in Nashville on November 11, as captured in a social media post by hospitality expert Dante Deiana on X.
Shortly after, a source confirmed to Us that Tartick and Hurley were officially a couple.
December 2025
Tartick made the news of his relationship with Hurley public on December 12, celebrating her birthday with a heartfelt message: “From the dogs you save every day to the lives you touch, you add beauty to everything around you. Happy Birthday, Kathryn!” via Instagram.
Later that month, Hurley looked back on their love story by posting several pictures from their cherished moments together, expressing, “So happy here 🤍,” on Instagram on December 15.

The duo closed out the year by celebrating New Year’s together. Hurley posted, “Can’t wait to embark on 2026 with you @jason_tartick 💘,” alongside a video of them kissing while perched on a car tailgate, among other snapshots.
“What an incredible way to end 2025! Truly looking forward to 2026 ❤️,” Tartick commented on her post. He also shared his own New Year’s Eve update, featuring a kiss with Hurley at a gathering in Nashville that night.
January 2026
The couple kicked off the year with a road trip to New York City, as seen in social media posts. They made their first red carpet appearance together during the Netflix premiere of The Rip on January 13.
Just days later, they flew to Miami to attend the 2026 College Football Playoff National Championship, where the Indiana Hoosiers triumphed over the Miami Hurricanes 27-21. “Taking a brief respite from the NFL. Go Hoosiers!” Tartick captioned a post on Instagram, after his beloved Buffalo Bills faced elimination from the playoffs.
On January 23, Tartick and Hurley collaborated with Tommy John for the brand’s Valentine’s Day campaign.
February 2026
The duo attended Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
“Manifesting a Bills/Lions Super Bowl in 2027! So thrilled to be here!” Tartick shared alongside photos of them at the game.
June 2026
The couple attended CMA Fest in Nashville before Tartick shared on Instagram that they were preparing for a trip across Europe.
Sharing two snapshots of himself with Hurley, Tartick mentioned, “One last Nashville night at CMA Fest before our 20-day excursion through Europe begins!”
Later in the month, Hurley provided a glimpse into their travels.
“Every day, I’ve been jotting down notes, collecting mementos, and etching snapshots in my mind, striving to preserve every moment of this journey for eternity. It doesn’t escape me that this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and sharing it with the person who brightens and lightens our life, well, it just doesn’t get any better. I might just explode from happiness or pasta, and I think that sounds like a pretty sweet life to me 🤍. Thank you for being you, @jason_tartick,” she expressed on Instagram, to which Tartick replied, “I was nearly in tears when I saw every hotel key saved in your carry-on.”
