Love Island USA’s Corbin Noticed Red Flags with Kenzie Before Their Villa Encounter
Love Island USA‘s Corbin Mims shared some unexpected insights about his relationship with Kenzie Annis following their intimate encounter in the villa.
During the episode aired on Monday, June 22, Corbin opened up about his connections with Kenzie, admitting that he saw some “red flags” he neglected to address — but wished to — prior to heading to Casa Amor. This prompted him to consider exploring other options even though he had just reconsolidated with Kenzie right before the big twist.
This revelation caught viewers off guard, especially after witnessing Corbin and Kenzie together in the communal bedroom. The previous episode on Sunday, June 21, had a snippet of them in bed, and the next morning, Trinity Tatum mentioned hearing sounds of someone experiencing “French fries,” which seemed “too wet” to be merely a kiss.
In a confessional, Kenzie affirmed the heated moment she had with Corbin. “I was definitely getting some French fries. Feeling great,” she exclaimed. “We might have gone a bit overboard, but I feel a genuine connection with Corbin. Perhaps we got carried away.”
From the clips shown, “French fries” seems to refer to manual acts of intimacy, including acts like hand jobs.
Love Island USA made its debut in the U.K. back in 2002 before branching out internationally with various spin-offs, including the Love Island USA series on Peacock. The format revolves around different singles each season who must couple up to remain in the luxurious villa.
The participants, dubbed Islanders, live in seclusion in the villa and are under ongoing surveillance. Couples are essential to stay on the show and compete for the $100,000 grand prize.
While exploring a deeper connection isn’t unusual, season 7 of Love Island USA set a record for the number of times Islanders were caught in intimate situations, only to be surpassed by season 8.
From Hannah Fields and Pepe Garcia to Huda Mustafa and Jeremiah Brown, the reality stars cleverly circumvented having to address their intimate moments for the audience.
“We had a code word for intimacy,” Hannah shared with Us Weekly in June 2025. “We would ask, ‘How was your journey? What was this journey like?’ Huda started it by referencing her ‘journey’ and how far it went.”
Season 8 intensified the intimate encounters in the villa, with numerous couples engaging fully while sharing a bedroom. The potential for drama surged with the introduction of Casa Amor halfway through Sunday’s episode.
New episodes of Love Island USA drop six days a week — barring Wednesdays — on Peacock.
