Ciara Shares Insights on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s ‘Enchanting’ Wedding

Ciara is sharing her thoughts on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s enchanting wedding after attending the glamorous event with her husband, Russell Wilson.

“We had an amazing time,” Ciara, 40, told Us Weekly exclusively on Friday, July 10, during her promotion for Ross’ latest creative initiative. “It was truly a beautiful, magical evening, and I think I’ll just leave it at that.”

She mentioned that she intends to keep Swift and Kelce’s special evening as private as possible out of respect for the couple, remaining tight-lipped about whether she and Wilson, 37, participated in karaoke during the July 3 celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

“I think it’s best for Travis and Taylor to share their own story about their beautiful wedding when they are ready. But I can certainly say it was a really enjoyable night,” Ciara hinted.

Although Ciara refrained from disclosing too many details about the lavish wedding, which hosted around 1,000 guests, she expressed nothing but admiration for Swift and Kelce, both 36, as a couple.

“We’re thrilled for them,” Ciara stated, referring to herself and Wilson, who is acquainted with Kelce through their NFL ties. “There’s nothing more wonderful than when two people who love each other deeply find happiness together, and we were fortunate to witness such a beautiful moment for them.” (Kelce plays tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs while Wilson retired from the league in June after a notable 14-season career.)

Ciara, who often operates within the same musical circles as Swift, added, “It was truly heartwarming to be part of a night that holds such significance for them. We are really happy for them.”

Swift and Kelce exchanged vows on July 3 after hosting a rehearsal dinner the day before.

The couple has yet to share photos from the no-phones-allowed event, but they confirmed in a press release that their bridal party was intimate.

“Taylor and Travis did not have traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen,” the press release stated. “Instead, her brother Austin Swift was Taylor’s Man of Honor, and Jason Kelce served as Travis’ Best Man. The ceremony united both families and was officiated by their friend Adam Sandler.”

On Friday, sportscaster Rich Eisen, who was present at the wedding, shared with Entertainment Tonight that Travis’ nieces — Wyatt, 6, Ellie, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finn, 15 months — participated in the ceremony, “scattering flower petals everywhere.” (Jason, 38, is the father of the four girls with wife Kylie Kelce.)

Meanwhile, Ciara gave fans a sneak peek of her and Wilson’s wedding attire following the special event.

“A NighTT For Lovers 🖤,” she captioned an Instagram post, showcasing photos of the duo en route to the celebration.

Just days after toasting to Travis and Taylor’s love story, Ciara and Wilson marked their own relationship milestone: their 10-year wedding anniversary.

In celebration of the event, which took place on July 6, Ciara released her new song, “Yes.”

“The song was produced by Thom Bridges and co-written by myself, Rachel West, and Courtlin Jabrae,” Ciara explained to Us on Friday, describing it as a “super feel-good record, a song meant for lovers, but also for those who simply want to enjoy good vibes.”

She remarked, “You can even have a bit of fun with sign language through the song, which you’ll see me doing on my TikTok. It just makes you feel good, and it seems perfect for summery energy and positive vibes.”

Ciara — who shares three children with Wilson and one son with ex Future — informed Us that music and summer weddings aren’t the only things occupying her time recently. She has partnered with Ross World, a new “creative platform” from Ross, aiming to blend fashion, music, movement, and culture.

“There was already an organic connection to the Ross brand in our household, as we have our children’s brand, 3Brand, in Ross stores,” Ciara revealed to Us. “We’re incredibly proud of the success we’ve attained so far.”

She expressed her excitement about collaborating on the Ross World initiative, especially after witnessing the “boldness of the campaign.”

“There’s nothing better than partnering with brands that are truly special — considering the reach Ross has and the families that visit the stores along with our existing partnership. This coming together feels amazing,” Ciara concluded.
