Dancing With the Stars’ Daniella Addresses Pregnancy Rumors
Dancing With the Stars professional Daniella Karagach has dismissed swirling rumors about her being pregnant with a second child.
“It’s 2026 and we’re still making assumptions about people’s pregnancies after a full burger and dessert? Seriously?” Karagach, 33, expressed in her Instagram Stories on Thursday, July 23. “Let’s normalize the idea of not commenting on a woman’s pregnancy just because you are accustomed to seeing her in a certain way.”
The skilled dancer, who has a 3-year-old daughter named Nikita with husband Pasha Pashkov, raised eyebrows on Wednesday, July 22, when she posted a bikini photo on Instagram.
“Mom & Dad,” Karagach captioned her photo, which showed her and Pashkov, 40, enjoying a beach day, leading fans to speculate whether they were subtly announcing a pregnancy.
Karagach clarified in her Thursday post that she and her husband were simply relishing their time off from DWTS and its live tour.
“I’m on break and enjoying every minute of it,” Karagach noted, while also addressing those facing fertility struggles. “There are individuals going through difficult times. It’s important to be more sensitive.”
She added, “If I do get pregnant in the near future, I’ll be the one to inform you. Peace out. I’m just going to enjoy some food.”
Karagach welcomed Nikita in May 2023 after previously experiencing a pregnancy loss.
“I just remember one day I was pregnant, and then the next day I wasn’t,” Karagach recounted about her miscarriage on an October 2024 episode of Good Morning America. “I just remember falling to the floor [and saying], ‘I can’t believe this happened to me.’”
According to Karagach, the “gut-wrenching” miscarriage occurred just five weeks after she learned about her pregnancy in early 2022.
“Whether it was one day, a week, five months, or whatever the timeline was, it was still a loss for me, and it felt huge,” she expressed during that time. “It was a baby, you know? It’s something we had longed for and visualized ourselves having.”
While coping with her loss — which she described as taking her to the “lowest of lows” — Karagach leaned on Pashkov for support.
“Pasha really helped me emerge from that state, and he was grieving alongside me. It wasn’t easy to discuss at the time, but he aided me in overcoming a very dark period,” Karagach shared previously. “We firmly believe in trusting the process; if it’s meant to be, it will happen at the right time.”
Karagach discovered she was expecting her rainbow baby during the fall of 2022’s DWTS season 31.
