Candace Cameron Bure’s Son Lev and Wife Elliott Celebrate the Arrival of Their First Baby
Candace Cameron Bure has embraced her new role as a grandmother after her son Lev Bure and his wife, Elliott Bure, welcomed their first child.
“Welcome baby boy!!!!” Elliott announced on Instagram on Sunday, September 27, sharing that her newborn son, Bond Leo, arrived prematurely. “Bond was born 10 weeks early at just 3 lbs and was immediately taken to the NICU — after many tears, countless prayers, and what felt like forever in the hospital, 5 weeks and 5 days later, we finally brought our miracle boy home!!”
She expressed her gratitude, stating, “Thank you to the entire team of nurses and doctors who provided incredible care to our baby, and to our community — we couldn’t have done this without you! Thank you Jesus for every answered prayer!!!!! We are truly blessed!!!!”
Candace, 50, referred to her first grandchild as a “miracle baby” in the comments.
“Our hearts are so full of love,” the actress responded. “You and Lev are the most amazing parents, and we are here for every moment of this 🙌🏼❤️. We love you all sooooooo much.”
Lev and Elliott revealed their pregnancy announcement in May 2026, stating that they were expecting their first baby.
“Baby Bure coming soon !!!!!!” Elliott exclaimed on Instagram, alongside maternity photos.
Candace was thrilled to take on the role of a grandmother — or “CandyGram,” as she plans to be called.
“Are you KIDDING?!! Another grandbaby on the way !!!!!” the Full House alum wrote on Instagram that month, also referencing her daughter Natasha Bure Perry’s pregnancy. “Does life get any better?!!! CandyGram x2 = fully ignited 🍭💖👶🏼. Huge congratulations Lev and @elliottpbure 🎈, we are still pinching ourselves!! 🥰.”
Candace and her husband, Valeri Bure, are the proud parents of daughter Natasha and sons Lev and Maksim. (Natasha and her husband, actor Bradley Steven Perry, are expecting their first child as well.)
“😍🥳🐣😇❤️ Let the baby celebration begin!!!,” Natasha chimed in on Lev and Elliott’s announcement. “Exciting times for the cousins.”
Candace exclusively confirmed to Us in November 2023 that Lev had proposed to Elliott.
“We are gaining a daughter very soon. My son is getting married right after Christmas, and we couldn’t be more excited,” Candace told Us. “She is definitely invited into the family, but we’ll see how the holidays play out. Now it’s like two families coming together. We’ll probably be competing for the kids every year.”
She added, “I’m definitely finding my way into my role within the wedding festivities, supporting them in every way I can. I want to help out and contribute, but I’m learning to embrace my position of being available and supportive.”
Candace and Valeri were there supporting Lev when he and Elliott exchanged vows in January 2024.
“I believe the marriage tips have been shared along the way. That’s part of parenting, right? It’s all about constant teaching and offering guidance,” Candace shared with Us regarding the advice she passed on to Lev and his soon-to-be spouse. “They are wonderful people, and we are cheering them on. They’re fantastic. I think the best thing I can do for them is let them know we’re here for any questions or support they need. We’re always ready to help.”
Reflecting on the wedding celebrations via Instagram, Candace expressed that her “heart was so full.”
“We gained a beautiful daughter and a wonderful family to share our lives with,” Candace shared along with wedding photos on Instagram in 2024. “I feel an overwhelming sense of love, joy, peace, and contentment, all thanks to God’s blessings of family and friendship.”
