RHOM Star Stephanie Shojaee Claims She Was Robbed While in France
The Real Housewives of Miami alum Stephanie Shojaee experienced a terrifying incident during her summer vacation in France when she was reportedly robbed.
“Cannes and Saint-Tropez are wonderful … until you find yourself getting robbed,” Shojaee, 41, shared on her Instagram Story on Saturday, August 1.
The reality star detailed the timeline of the alleged robbery through multiple Instagram Story slides, beginning with her departure on a private jet.
While showcasing her luxurious hotel room in France, Shojaee expressed, “The robbery occurred on day 2!! The South of France is simply not safe. I wanted to leave, but I tried to make the best of it.”
Shojaee later posted alarming security camera footage that appeared to show two masked intruders lurking near her vacation villa at night.
“Come to the South of France, they said. Rent a villa, they said. It was a fabulous idea, they said,” she joked. “Oh look! There goes my belongings! They even took half of my [real estate company Shoma Group] merchandise. What the heck!!!”
In follow-up posts, Shojaee alleged that the masked men “entered my room and went shopping in my closet.”
“Every day I woke up to this but was terrified … Was it worth it? Not really,” she emphasized.
The RHOM star brought her cherished dog, Pebbles, on the trip — and fortunately, the pet emerged completely unscathed.
“She barks at the wind but not at people stealing all my things,” Shojaee joked in a post featuring Pebbles.
As of now, Shojaee has not provided any additional information regarding the alleged robbery.
Shojaee joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Miami for season 7 in 2025. Sadly, Us confirmed in March that RHOM was put on “pause” by Bravo for a second time following season 7. (The Miami-based Real Housewives franchise had previously been paused by the network from 2013 to 2021.)
The Real Housewives of Miami executive producer and reunion host, Andy Cohen, addressed the show’s hiatus in March.
“I did want to mention Housewives of Miami, there’s a lot happening,” Cohen told SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live at that time. “I get the credit, and I take the blame. And let me clarify, this decision wasn’t mine. By the way, I’m an EP [executive producer] on all these shows. If it were up to me, they would always be airing. I mean, that’s better for me.”
Cohen remained optimistic about the potential return of RHOM, provided that the fans advocate for it.
“Honestly, I’m pleased that people are so passionate about it, and I hope they encourage their friends to watch. It’s all about ratings at the end of the day,” he added.
The Real Housewives of Miami concluded its seventh — and possibly final — season in October 2025 with a three-part reunion.
