Brielle Biermann Addresses Allegations of Shading Brigette Pheloung’s Dress
Brielle Biermann is clarifying the rumors suggesting she attempted to “steal the spotlight” from influencer Brigette Pheloung by trying on the same Vera Wang wedding dress.
“Addressing this once & for all,” the 29-year-old reality star stated through her Instagram Stories on Sunday, August 10. “As you’ll see, I made this video on Friday. We had it scheduled to be posted on Sunday for engagement purposes. I’ve never met @acquired.style & had no idea she was getting married this weekend, nor did I see a leaked photo of her!”
Biermann put an end to the speculation after the rumor mill began to churn. Theories circulated online after she posted a clip of herself trying on the same off-the-shoulder white gown adorned with floral details as Pheloung — known as Acquired Style on social media — while shopping for her own wedding attire.
“The dress I almost said yes to,” she captioned the post. Biermann quickly faced accusations of throwing shade at Pheloung, 29, following the content creator’s marriage to Mitch McHale over the weekend.

“So it’s just a coincidence that you’re posting this as the first pics of acquired’s dress got leaked…. Rightttt,” one social media user commented.
Biermann responded, “? Do you really think I rushed to Vera Wang today to try on this dress and post it lmao.” She further stated, “Also, I haven’t seen a single thing of her wedding dress! If she chose this, she made a great choice!!!! I bet she looked stunning.”
Supporters of Biermann chimed in, stating, “All these negative comments are absurd! Many influencers showcase the dresses they didn’t choose. I doubt Brielle was aware of the other girl’s dress. Calm down, everyone!” Another added, “It’s strange how people create drama out of nothing. You look amazing; can’t wait to see the dress you actually chose!”
Biermann got engaged to her fiancé Billy Seidl in February 2024. The couple met on vacation in the Bahamas in 2023 and began dating. By April, they had gone Instagram official.
In July, she discussed her wedding planning and expressed uncertainty about whether her adoptive father, Kroy Biermann, would attend the ceremony due to his ongoing divorce from her mother, Kim Zolciak.
“I haven’t really spoken to Kroy,” she told TMZ. “[It’s] up in the air, things are ever-changing.” Her sister Ariana Biermann also revealed exclusively to Us that she feels “sad” Kroy, 40, may not be present.
She hinted that the wedding will happen “soon” at a venue close to “the beach.”
