Rolling Loud has unveiled the first look at their inaugural movie production, set to hit theaters on October 2, 2026.
The storyline revolves around a rigid, uptight father (Owen Wilson) who believes the quickest way to earn “cool-dad” points with his 13-year-old son (Christian Convery) is by disguising a trip to Rolling Loud as a simple father-son fishing excursion. As they wander the Hard Rock Stadium grounds, they become separated—leading Wilson on a panicked quest through crowds and energetic mosh pits alongside two enthusiastic festivalgoers, portrayed by Matt Rife and Christine Ko.
The trailer kicks off with a whirlwind as the trio dives into the chaos of searching for the teen, interspersed with flashing stage lights, explosive pyrotechnics, and a crowd that engulfs Wilson at every turn. Throughout the journey, Wilson finds himself caught up in fights, tossed around in moshpits, and even ends up on stage with the “Highest in the Room” rapper himself.
This action-packed adventure features appearances from some of hip-hop’s biggest names, including Sexyy Red, Ty Dolla $ign, and Ski Mask the Slump God, all playing exaggerated versions of themselves. The cast also includes Henry Winkler and Jolene Blalock, while Jeremy Garelick, who wrote the screenplay, takes on directing duties.
The on-screen excitement was made possible by filming during the 2024 Rolling Loud Miami festival, where the production harnessed the vibrant crowd and electrifying atmosphere to evoke the movie’s thrilling chaos.
