Gia Giudice Speaks Out on Rumored Romance Between Ariana and Charlie
Next Gen NYC’s Gia Giudice is standing by Ariana Biermann as she navigates her flirtatious connection with Charlie Zakkour.
“I was aware of everything happening. It’s that typical scenario that follows a breakup, where you think, let me see what options I have,” Gia, 25, shared exclusively with Us on Wednesday, August 12. “There was no bad intention. It was more about her being like, ‘I’m single. I’m attractive,’ and enjoying the attention from different guys. Who doesn’t like attention?”
In this season of Next Gen NYC, cameras have captured Ariana, 24, adjusting to her new single life post-breakup with Hudson McLeroy.
While the Bravo star has been spending time with new cast member Liam Obergfoll in recent episodes, viewers found out in Wednesday’s episode that she’s also been flirting with Charlie, 31.
“She was merely exploring,” Gia elaborated. “And you’ll see where that journey takes her and how she feels about it. Ultimately, it was just that energetic phase of being newly single and exploring.”
During Wednesday’s episode, Charlie discussed his relationship with Ariana with close friend Shai Fruchter.

Despite having told Hudson, 24, that he has “no plans” to jeopardize his friendship for Ariana, Charlie acknowledged that their situation has shifted.
“[Ariana] came out strong, saying, ‘I wouldn’t go near him with a 10-foot pole. If anything, that makes me think, ‘Wow, I must be wrong about this,’” Charlie explained. “That definitely hits my ego, and I want to protect it.”
He added, “I believe my friendship and flirtation with Ariana is completely sincere. If anything, I’m the one trying to keep the details hidden from the show. She’s hesitant to engage in front of the cameras, but even more so in front of Liam.”
As fans continue to witness the developments between Ariana and Charlie, Gia appears to grasp why things have turned flirty.
“When Charlie decides to charm, he really can,” she commented. “There are moments when you absolutely adore him, and others where you might disagree. Everyone has different facets to their personality and emotions, and he’s definitely done a better job of expressing himself this season.”
Next Gen NYC airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET. You can stream new episodes the following day on Peacock.
