Margaret Qualley has made headlines for her unique style choices.
The 31-year-old actress attended the Dog Stars premiere in London, England, on Thursday, August 20, sporting a pair of strikingly soleless Chanel flats. These shoes, which are gaining popularity on social media, consist solely of a heel and two delicate straps that tie into bows around her ankles. Qualley ensured her toes were perfectly manicured with black polish.
On the red carpet, Qualley spoke with Good Morning America about her bold look, confirming she was, in fact, barefoot. “Well, I found the little Chanel [shoes],” she said, glancing down at her feet. “I’m Chanel barefoot!”
The star of Substance paired her eye-catching footwear with a Chanel dress that boasted a plunging neckline, short sleeves, a cinched waist, and intricate fringe throughout.
For her glam, Qualley opted for a full makeup look, featuring luminous skin, well-groomed eyebrows, winged eyeliner, rosy cheeks, and pin curls. Her dark hair was styled in soft curls with a middle parting.
Fans quickly took to Instagram to express their thoughts on Qualley’s footwear via Instagram.

In Dog Stars, Qualley portrays Cima alongside Jacob Elordi, who plays Hig. The film also features Josh Brolin as Bangley and Guy Pearce as Pops. The storyline follows pandemic survivors traversing a post-apocalyptic landscape to uncover the source of a mysterious radio transmission.
Previously, Qualley promoted the film, which is scheduled to hit theaters on August 28, through her Instagram account.
