Nicole Williams English from The Girls Discusses Her Marriage
The decision on the field remains unchanged: Nicole Williams English’s top supporter is still her husband, former NFL star, Larry English.
“Larry is amazing because he’s always up for anything, and he enjoys spending time with the girls,” Nicole, 42, shared exclusively with Us earlier this month while promoting The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project. “You just have to expect that.”
In Hulu’s latest reality series, Nicole reveals some intriguing insights about her marriage to her costars, which include long-time friends Olivia Pierson and Natalie Halcro. The cast also features Khadijah Haqq-McCray, Malika Haqq, and Yris Palmer, with Khloé Kardashian as the executive producer.
The premiere episode sees Nicole dishing out some shocking revelations about her intimate life with her close friends.
“I feel like with girlfriends, I won’t divulge too much, but when you’re with your best friends and enjoying a few drinks, it’s easy to let slip some personal details,” Nicole told Us. “And sometimes, girl talk can go a bit too far, and it definitely did.”
She added, “I won’t reveal too much. Sometimes you might exaggerate a bit while drinking, and that led to what you’ll see.”
Nicole and Larry, 40, first ventured into reality television when they appeared on the E! series WAGS from 2015 to 2017, which followed women romantically linked to professional athletes.
During the series, viewers witnessed the couple tie the knot in a romantic ceremony at Montage Laguna Beach in Orange County, California. They are now happily raising their 3-year-old daughter, India.
Although it’s been almost a decade since Nicole last filmed with Olivia, 37, and Natalie, 38, the three remain very close friends.
“We’ve been friends for ages. Nat and Liv were practically like sisters to [Larry],” Nicole mentioned to Us. “He banters with them, and I do the same with him. He’ll say, ‘I’m going on a romantic evening tonight,’ and I respond, ‘That’s great, Nat and Liv are coming too.’ He’s like, ‘Ah, can’t we ever have some alone time?’ We definitely come as a trio.”
She continued, “It’s more than just friendship. We met later in life, and typically, when you do that, you can form friendships, but it’s rare to find a true best friend. I genuinely believe we were meant to be friends because we’re all so alike.”
