Nicole Kidman Enjoys Time with Businessman Michael Reinstein
Nicole Kidman has rejoined the dating world nine months after ending her marriage to Keith Urban.
“Nicole is seeing someone again after her breakup with Keith and has been spending time with businessman Michael Reinstein,” an exclusive source shares with Us. “It’s a casual relationship, and she’s enjoying herself. They were introduced through mutual friends. She’s also gone on dates with others, and her friends are constantly trying to set her up.”
Regarding her relationship with Urban, 58, post-divorce, the insider mentioned that “the dust has really settled,” and the former couple is “in a much better place now.”
“There’s a significant amount of respect between them, despite their past,” the source reveals.
Kidman has navigated through the divorce with the support of close friends Reese Witherspoon and Sandra Bullock, who “were there for her during a lot of it,” the insider adds.
“Being back on set for [Practical Magic 2] with Sandra was genuinely comforting for Nicole because it offered her a sense of familiarity during a time of significant change in her life,” the source continues. (Kidman reprises her role as Gillian Owens in the sequel alongside Bullock, who portrays her sister, Sally Owens.)
“She’s doing really well now; she’s happy and seems to have finally moved past everything,” the insider concludes about Kidman’s current phase. “She is always a joy to be around and exudes confidence. She serves as an excellent role model for her daughters and is looking forward to this next chapter.”
Us reached out to Kidman’s representatives for a comment.
Us confirmed in September 2025 that Urban and Kidman had separated after nearly twenty years together. The actress filed for divorce later that month. Urban and Kidman, who share daughters Sunday Rose, 18, and Faith Margaret, 15, completed their divorce in January.
Kidman — also a mother to daughter Bella, 33, and son Connor, 31, from her marriage to Tom Cruise — spoke out about the split in March.
“I’ll always focus on what’s positive. What I truly appreciate is my family and maintaining our unity as we move forward,” she told Variety during an interview at that time. “That’s my truth. Everything else I choose not to discuss out of respect. I’m committed to the notion that ‘we are a family,’ and that’s what we will continue to be. My lovely girls, my treasures, who have suddenly grown into women.”
While Urban has not yet made a public statement regarding the divorce, a source exclusively told Us in October 2025 that he had “moved on” and was “transparent with Nicole about his feelings.”
“The two had gradually drifted apart over time, and ultimately, their decision to separate was more about acceptance than shock,” the insider reported.
