Andrea Denver’s Wife Welcomes Their First Baby in the City
In the City star Andrea Denver has officially embraced fatherhood after his wife, Lexi Sundin, welcomed their first child into the world.
“Meet our little Astrid,” the couple shared in a joint Instagram announcement on Thursday, September 3. “It’s been a week with her, and our hearts have never felt this full. The best decision we’ve ever made!! 🙌”
Congratulatory messages flooded in from the Bravoverse, including Vanderpump Rules‘ Katie Maloney, Summer House alum Luke Gulbranson, and Family Karma‘s Amrit Kapai.
“So thrilled for you both!! She’s gorgeous! Congratulations!” Kapai, 40, commented on Lexi and Andrea’s baby announcement.
Andrea and Lexi announced in June their expectancy of a baby.
“Last fall, we decided it was the right time to start our family, something we had always dreamed of,” Lexi shared with People at the time. “During Christmas, while spending time with family, I realized my period was late and sensed I might be pregnant.”
Following Lexi’s pregnancy test, the couple was overwhelmed with joy when they learned the positive result.
“It was one of those moments you wish you could preserve forever,” she expressed to the outlet. “We were completely amazed in the best way possible, filled with gratitude. It’s thrilling because each week makes it feel more real, and we’re both eagerly counting down to meet our little one.”
Andrea and Lexi have been together since 2021, tying the knot in the groom’s native Italy three years later.
“We feel so privileged to celebrate with our dear ones. I think it deepened our bond even more, and we’re excited to journey through life together,” the couple exclusively told Us in 2024 about their wedding. “We look forward to growing together, creating unforgettable memories, and eventually having a family.”
Andrea and Lexi exchanged vows in a stunning castle in Lake Garda, Italy, surrounded by his former Summer House castmates.
“This historic castle, perched on a hillside with breathtaking views of the lake and the charming town of Lonato, provided everything we envisioned, including stunning sunsets,” the couple remarked to Us at the time. “We wanted our guests to fall in love with our beloved region and Lake Garda just as much as we have.”
They continued, “The castle’s grandeur, distinctiveness, and rich history made it stand out, making it the ideal choice for our wedding. It truly met all our criteria and felt like a fairy tale come true.”
Almost two years after their wedding, Andrea and Lexi returned to Bravo for the new Summer House spin-off, In the City, which chronicles the lives of their friend group in New York City in between summer seasons in the Hamptons. During the season 1 finale, which aired in early July, Andrea and Lexi announced they were expecting their first child, alongside costars Danielle Olivera and Yvonne Najor. Danielle welcomed her baby 10 weeks premature on June 21.
“Welcome to the world, Aidan Santos Heavey,” Danielle, 37, wrote on Instagram on July 18 about her son with boyfriend Eoin Heavey. “Already making his own rules, Aidan arrived on June 21st at just 28 weeks (+5 days). Tiny, mighty, and clearly not following our timeline. He’s thriving in @stonybrookmedicine NICU and growing stronger every day while keeping Mom & Dad on their toes.”
Andrea, Lexi, and Yvonne, 39, all offered their encouragement in the comments section.
“Sending so much love to little Aidan,” Andrea expressed at the time. “He’s already proven how strong he is. Wishing you both boundless strength and hoping the day you can take him home arrives soon.”
As for Yvonne, she and her husband Nick Barber welcomed their first baby, son Leonardo, in late August shortly after Danielle’s son left the NICU.
